An Understated Dominance - Chapter 2375
Under the overwhelming force of the three-headed, six-armed ethereal divine spirit, the last of Dalen’s clones shattered into pieces.
The crowd erupted in chaos. The women who had supported him screamed in despair, with some even fainting. It felt tragic to see such a handsome man turned to dust.
Despite the uproar in the stands, Fenley remained calm in the battle ring. When the ethereal divine spirit struck Dalen, it wasn’t a body that exploded but a ball of air. This meant the figure that had just shattered was merely a clone. But where was the real Dalen if all nine figures were clones?
Just as Fenley frowned in confusion, he suddenly felt a prickling danger at the back of his neck. He instinctively looked up to see Dalen diving toward him headfirst, holding a folding fan.
Dalen dropped silently, like a meteor falling from the sky. The tip of the fan was a half-sheathed sword that gleamed dangerously.
“You’re courting death!” Fenley shouted.
As Dalen plunged toward him, Fenley reacted quickly, raising both palms above his head. A surge of grandmaster-level internal energy burst forth from him like a tidal wave.
A loud explosion echoed as Dalen’s ambushing form exploded and dissolved into vapor.
“Was that a clone?” Fenley paused, surprised. The danger he had felt moments ago was unlike anything he had experienced before. How could that have been a clone?
A metallic sound rang out from behind him. Dalen had somehow appeared behind him, thrusting the sword-tipped fan straight at his back.
But the expected heart-piercing strike never happened. As the sword grazed Fenley’s skin, it hit an invisible shield of internal energy that deflected the blow.
Only a few knew that the Four Elements of God’s Technique was more than just an offensive power.
Dalen realized that things weren’t going to be as easy as he hoped. “Guess it wasn’t going to be that easy after all,” he muttered as he quickly moved away from Fenley.
Using his Spectral Clone Technique, Dalen had tricked Fenley. But despite the cleverness of his plan, he knew his strength wasn’t enough to overcome Fenley’s defenses. The Four Elements of God’s Technique created a barrier that was almost impossible to penetrate. Dalen felt disappointed; he had missed a chance to strike.
“Is he still alive? Dalen is still standing?” someone asked in disbelief.
“Not only is he alive, but he almost hurt Fenley. This guy is tough,” another replied.
“His skills in illusion and deception are amazing. He uses the Spectral Clone Technique like a master,” said a third person.
Everything happened so quickly. Dalen had managed to trick Fenley twice with his clones and almost created an opening for a sneak attack. Even though he didn’t succeed, his instincts and cleverness shone through.
“You… are impressive,” Fenley admitted, looking at his ripped clothes and then back at Dalen, a hint of menace in his gaze.
“You came close to hurting me, but in the end, that small difference in skill is too great to overcome,” Fenley continued.
Fenley recognized Dalen’s strength. Before his own breakthrough, he would have found Dalen to be a worthy opponent. But now, things had changed.
No matter how skilled Dalen was, he was still just a grandmaster martial artist. Fenley, on the other hand, had reached the ultimate grandmaster level, and that made all the difference. With his current abilities, as long as he used the Four Elements of God’s Technique, Dalen wouldn’t be able to break through his defenses.

The tension between Fenley and Dalen was clear. From the start of their fight, Fenley was the stronger one.
“You seem much stronger than yesterday. It looks like you’ve improved. You must have worked hard for it,” Dalen said, noticing that Fenley felt different from the day before.
“Good observation. But you’re wrong about one thing. My improvement came easily; it just happened a few days earlier than I thought,” Fenley replied calmly.
“Congratulations,” Dalen said with a slight smile. “But even if you have gotten stronger, winning the championship won’t be easy.”
“Winning isn’t your concern. You know how much stronger I am, so it would be smart to admit defeat. It would be better for both of us,” Fenley suggested.
He usually didn’t waste time talking to regular martial artists. He preferred to defeat them quickly.
But Dalen was different. His skill with the Spectral Clone Technique meant that beating him would take more effort than Fenley wanted to give.
With a tough match against Glenn coming up, Fenley didn’t want to waste energy on Dalen.
“Admitting defeat would be too embarrassing,” Dalen replied, still smiling. “I may not beat you, but I want to see how powerful the Four Elements of God’s Technique really is.”
“You’d be putting your life on the line if you want to see my strongest move. Are you ready for the consequences?” Fenley asked coldly.
“I want to find out,” Dalen said with a grin.
“Fine. If you’re so eager to face danger, I’ll make it happen,” Fenley said, his patience wearing thin as his eyes turned icy.
They had no personal conflict, and Fenley didn’t want to kill. But if Dalen kept pushing his luck, things could change.
Fenley had no problem showing his tough side.
