“I’m defeated.” Emeret hung his head, struggling to say the words.

“You did well to take my hits and still be on your feet,” Glenn said coldly as he walked out of the battle ring.

The crowd erupted in loud applause. Even though the match was short, the fierce battle had caught everyone’s attention, especially Glenn’s incredible strength, which left a strong impression on everyone watching.

If Glenn hadn’t drawn his sword, things might have been different. But once he did, the force of his strikes was unmatched.

“What a shame,” Alloy said, shaking his head in faux disappointment from the main spectator seat.

It would have been better if Glenn’s strike had finished Emeret off sooner. Losing a talent like Emeret could create tension within the Sword Union, which was exactly the kind of chaos the Celestial Alliance wanted to see.

“Mr. Marshall, my disciple is alive. But you seem a bit disappointed,” Cyrus said, looking at Alloy sharply.

“Mr. Hadley, you misunderstand. I was just reminded of something sad,” Alloy replied, forcing a smile that didn’t reach his eyes.

“Really?” Cyrus scoffed. “Well, you might feel even more sorrow soon.”

“Oh? What do you mean?” Alloy raised an eyebrow, intrigued.

“Soon, you’ll understand the pain of losing a disciple,” Cyrus replied, a cold glint in his eyes.

“Let’s not jump to conclusions too quickly, Mr. Hadley,” Alloy sneered.

“Let’s see how this unfolds,” Cyrus smirked.

Abigail needed no introduction. As the Grand Sorceress of the Mystic Arts Order, she ranked second on the Legendary List and had already shown her strength in her earlier match against George.

As the only woman in the top eight, she was even more popular than Dalen. Besides her ranking on the Legendary List, she also stood out on the Beauty Ranking for her stunning looks. While she ranked slightly below Alicia, she was still incredibly beautiful.
