Audrey and Serenity exchanged glances.

Audrey smiled and said, “If no one has any objections, Seren and I will feel relieved. Liberty and Duncan have come this far, and we want to support them. Regardless of their decision, we will stand by them.”

I heard from Liberty that she and Duncan plan to obtain their marriage certificate either before or after the New Year. Liberty is incredibly busy and won’t return until the 20th of the twelfth lunar month. She’s so preoccupied that she hasn’t even had time to see Sonny during winter vacation; he mentioned wanting to spend the break at FC Manor instead.”

Mrs. Lewis smiled and added, “I understand. I’m considering the winter vacation as well. I’ll take Sonny with me to care for him, so Seren won’t be disturbed at work. It’s getting late in the year, and everyone is busy. Seren’s vegetable market must be supplying a large quantity of vegetables daily.”

Serenity replied, “The demand is almost exceeding the supply.”

Mrs. Lewis responded, “That’s a good sign; it indicates your business is thriving. You can also consider investing in other projects.”

Serenity said, “There are opportunities for other investments.”

Mrs. Lewis nodded. “With Zachary around, we elders don’t need to worry.”

Whenever Serenity wanted to invest in a new venture, Zachary would assist her in reviewing options and offering advice. Even if Zachary was uncertain, the old lady and other elders would still be available for support.

Mrs. Lewis believed that the more stable Serenity’s position in the York family became, the more it would benefit Liberty.

As Liberty would be her youngest daughter-in-law, Mrs. Lewis hoped more than anyone else for a bright future for both Liberty and Serenity.

“Mrs. Stone, have you identified the key person?” Mrs. Lewis suddenly lowered her voice to ask Audrey. She suspected that Audrey wouldn’t have brought up Duncan without reason.

Liberty’s Future

Progress is essential. The truth may soon emerge, and it will be time for Liberty and Kathryn to face off against one another.

Audrey and Serenity were concerned that the Lewis family might oppose Duncan coming to Farrell House, so they decided to inquire about their stance beforehand.

Audrey smiled, saying, “I can’t keep anything from you. I’ve located my mother’s assistant, who possesses some evidence. He also witnessed what transpired back then, making him a crucial witness. Additionally, there are several seniors who can testify. Once Uncle Jimenez takes a two-day break, he will bring us the evidence, and then we will fly to Jensburg together.”

As she spoke, Audrey’s eyes grew unnaturally cold, and her expression turned serious.

“I will not forgive anyone who has harmed my family, even if that person is my own aunt! I will reclaim everything she has taken!” Audrey declared resolutely.

Mrs. Lewis replied, “If you require our assistance, please don’t hesitate to ask. Liberty’s matters concern our Lewis family as well.”

Audrey responded, “When I need your help, I will certainly ask for it without hesitation. Don’t think about ignoring my request.”

Mrs. Lewis smiled, agreeing, “That’s right.”

It dawned on Mrs. Lewis that there was a new development in Audrey’s words.

Audrey then leaned closer to Mrs. Lewis and whispered.

Mrs. Lewis and her husband exchanged excited glances and quickly remarked, “It’s not too late for us to go to Wildridge Manor now. Old Mrs. York was so unkind that she didn’t even inform us. Our two families are connected, after all. And Mrs. Stone, why didn’t you tell us about such an important matter sooner?”

Audrey smiled and replied, “This just happened yesterday.”

“We haven’t reacted yet. Today, the old lady took them away, and I believe the seniors will remain in Wiltspoon for another three to five days. You still have time to rush to Wildridge Manor now. Seren and I will be there soon.”

She had made an appointment with Mrs. Lewis first and had yet to arrive.

Audrey picked up a cup of coffee and took two sips. After setting the cup down, she smiled and said, “What are we waiting for? Let’s go now.”

Mrs. Lewis asked, “Seren, are you hungry? Why don’t you eat something first? We’ll wait for you.”

Serenity replied, “I had breakfast at my aunt’s house.”

However, she still grabbed two pieces of snacks and began eating them. “Just a couple more snacks will be fine. I have food in the car too. I won’t starve.”

She loved to eat and usually kept some snacks in the car.
