Simone remarked, “You didn’t drink a lot, but you still consumed alcohol, and it was strong liquor, which qualifies as drunk driving. For your safety, you should call a designated driver. If you prefer that I don’t take you home, that’s fine. You’re at your own hotel, and there are plenty of people who can drive you.”

After some thought, Hugh replied, “Alright, I’ll arrange for someone to take me back, and I won’t drive myself. You haven’t eaten much, so you’re probably still hungry. Let’s go back and grab a bite.”
Simone smiled and said, “I don’t have a big appetite. I’m already about 60% full. It doesn’t really matter to me if I eat or not. I just enjoy spending time with my sisters. Are you planning to take it easy today?”
Hugh nodded. “My sister just returned; I can take a break for a bit, but then I’ll be completely worn out.”
Before the sparks began to fly between Hayden and Kevin, Hugh, the second young master of the Queen family, was quite relaxed.

Simone said, “The New Year is approaching, so we can unwind and enjoy the festivities.”
Hugh looked at her and asked, “Where are you planning to go for the New Year?”
Simone replied, “I haven’t decided yet. What about you? Where do you intend to go?”
“Let’s head to Wiltspoon. Do you want to go to Wiltspoon? It’s much warmer there. Even on the coldest days, the temperature is higher than our warmest winter day.”
Simone thought for a moment and said,
“Traveling to such a distant place alone can be daunting, especially when you’re not familiar with it,” she remarked.
“My brother-in-law’s hometown is Wiltspoon. Just reach out to me, and I will gladly show you around; I know the area quite well,” he replied.
Simone burst into laughter and responded, “Okay, I won’t be shy about it then. Hurry back, or your sister will be upset.”
“We’ll meet again soon,” Hugh said as he waved goodbye to Simone and started to leave. He also instructed the lobby manager to take him home.
Simone overheard his conversation with the lobby manager and noted that he wasn’t driving himself. The lobby manager drove Hugh’s car and took him home. Afterward, Simone returned to the private room to continue eating, drinking, and chatting with her friends.
On the way home, Hugh suddenly asked the lobby manager, “Manager Dumont, a girl expressed concern about you driving under the influence. Does that indicate that she appreciates your abilities? I’m not certain if she likes you, but she definitely cares about you and your well-being.”
Manager Dumont smiled as he drove. “Mr. Queen, why do you ask? You seem to understand women’s feelings better than anyone.”
Hugh smiled back and replied, “Perhaps it’s because those involved are often confused, while onlookers can see things more clearly. I can easily see other people’s problems, but when I’m in the midst of my own, it’s like being enveloped in fog. I struggle to see clearly and can’t find my way, which makes me feel a bit anxious.”
Manager Dumont nodded in agreement. “Mr. Queen, do you have feelings for someone? Or do you believe someone has genuine feelings for you?”
