An Understated Dominance - Chapter 101

Back in the interrogation room, Dustin and Dahlia sat back to back, trying to keep warm.

Moments like this were rare for them, especially since their marriage ended in divorce.

They stayed quiet for a while.

Finally, Dahlia broke the silence, her voice shaky. “Dustin, do you think we’ll make it out of here alive?”

She couldn’t handle the damp, dark space any longer. It made her feel anxious and scared about what Mr. Gardner might do to them.

“Don’t worry. We’ll definitely get out of here,” Dustin said, trying to reassure her.

“What if we don’t? Do you have any last wishes?” Dahlia asked softly, her mood gloomy.

“There’s no way we’re going to die. Let’s just focus on getting out,” Dustin replied firmly.

“Not after we’ve offended Lord Asmon. With his power and resources, he could easily get rid of us,” Dahlia sighed.

Even if she gathered all her strength, it wouldn’t match the wealth of the nobility.

“Dahlia, this isn’t like you. I thought you were someone who never gives up. You always face challenges head-on. Why the negativity?” Dustin said, raising his voice a little.

Dahlia chuckled softly. “You’re right. We can’t know what will happen until the last moment. Maybe we should hold on to hope that things will change!”

Just as she finished speaking, the metal door creaked open.

Light flooded into the room as Mr. Gardner walked in, followed by a few large, intimidating men.

“Kid! Your time is up. Have you made your decision?” he demanded.

He shot Dustin a fierce look.

“Yes, I’ve decided. I will not return the items,” Dustin said firmly.

“What?” Mr. Gardner frowned. “Kid, don’t you know who these men are? I’ll be honest, they are the worst criminals in prison! They haven’t had a woman’s touch in a long time! If you don’t cooperate, you will regret it. These men will have their way with your girlfriend while you watch her suffer!”

“If you touch her, I’ll tear this whole place down!” Dustin growled.

“How dare you talk back to me! Now, you’ll face the consequences!” Mr. Gardner shouted, signaling to his men. “Make sure to show this kid what happens when he defies me! Give him a fate worse than death!”

Chapter 101

“Of course, sir! We are ready!” the men laughed wickedly.

They had been in prison for a long time without a woman. Now that a beautiful girl was close by, their desires were clear.

“Hi, gorgeous! Let’s have a good time!” one of them said.

“I’ll get the girl, you take care of the guy!” another added.

The men began to strip and laughed as they approached Dahlia.

“You must be looking for trouble!” Dustin stood up, furious.

With incredible strength, he tore the shackles from his hands and legs, and they clattered to the ground.

Then, he quickly turned and freed Dahlia.

“You!” Mr. Gardner was shocked by what had just happened.

The shackles in this room were made to be extremely tough. No one should be able to break them like that.

How did this skinny kid do it?

“Gardner, you have pushed me too far!” Dustin declared.

Dustin kicked the shackles away and ran towards Mr. Gardner.

“Quick, stop this kid!” Mr. Gardner shouted, calling for help. The big men quickly surrounded Dustin and all of them attacked at once.

“Get out of my way!” Dustin yelled, and as he stomped his heel on the ground, a powerful force erupted.

The shockwave sent the men flying backward, crashing into the walls of the interrogation room. They were all knocked out instantly, bleeding from their injuries.

“Help, anybody! Please help!” Mr. Gardner cried out, turning pale as he tried to escape.
