An Understated Dominance - Chapter 102
Dustin kicked the lifeless body of a man lying next to him. The body flew and crashed into Mr. Gardner, who was trying to escape. Mr. Gardner screamed in pain and fell to the ground, unable to run anymore.
“I warned you not to touch her,” Dustin said as he walked up to Mr. Gardner, his eyes filled with anger.
“Kid, don’t forget you’re in a police station! You can’t go too far!” Mr. Gardner said, backing away on his hands and knees.
“Too far? What are you going to do about it?” Dustin chuckled as he stepped on Mr. Gardner’s arm. The pain was intense, and Mr. Gardner howled in agony.
“Dustin! Stop it!” Dahlia shouted, her face pale with fear. They were innocent, but if they fought back against the police, they could be charged with excessive self-defense. That would only make things worse!
“Come to your senses, kid! Confess and turn yourself in. You still have a chance to save yourself. If not, there will be no mercy!” Mr. Gardner grimaced as he threatened.
Without replying, Dustin kicked Mr. Gardner in the stomach. Mr. Gardner reflexively vomited up his dinner from the night before, and a terrible smell filled the air.
“You—You!” Mr. Gardner gasped, coughing violently as nausea made him throw up bile.
“Dustin, have you lost your mind? If something happens to Mr. Gardner, we’ll have to take responsibility!” Dahlia cried out, worried.
“Even if I hadn’t fought back, he wouldn’t have let us go. Since it’s come to this, we might as well finish him off,” Dustin replied casually.
“The situation hasn’t escalated to that point. Stop now, and we can still fix this. If you kill Mr. Gardner, we’ll all be in trouble!”
“Pay for your mistakes!” Dahlia pleaded with Dustin.
She worried that in his anger, Dustin might do something reckless.
“Do you hear that? If you violate me again, I will make sure you and your whole family pay!” Mr. Gardner shouted angrily.
“What happened, Mr. Gardner?” Draco rushed into the room with his group of followers, startled by the commotion. They were shocked to see the bloody scene and Mr. Gardner, who was badly hurt.
“Kid, you must be looking for trouble! Let Mr. Gardner go right now if you still want to live!” Draco warned.
—
“Let him go? Fine, take him.” Dustin kicked Mr. Gardner, sending him flying into the air. He crashed hard onto several of Draco’s followers, taking them down with him.
Dahlia was speechless. She couldn’t believe Dustin would kick Mr. Gardner. Even surrounded by dangerous men, he didn’t seem to consider surrendering.
Had Dustin lost his mind? Didn’t he understand the risks of defying Mr. Gardner?
Mr. Gardner was not just any officer; he was well-known as Heinous Hades, the inspector responsible for the prison and criminal interrogations. The lives of prisoners depended on him, so how could Dustin be so bold?
“Mr. Gardner, are you okay?” Draco quickly helped him up.
In a fit of rage, Mr. Gardner cursed and shouted to his men, “Kill that kid right now! I want him dead and his body chopped into pieces!”
No one had ever humiliated him like this before!
“Kill him!” Draco ordered as they pulled out their weapons and charged toward Dustin.
Just as the fight was about to start, a loud voice came from the door.
“Stop this instant!”
