“I’ll buy it for five million dollars.” Dustin’s voice caught the attention of several customers, who turned to look at him in disbelief.

Anyone with sense could see that the Luminianth Root he was bidding on was defective. Only a fool would buy it in such a condition.

“Dustin, have you lost your mind? Why would you spend five million on a piece of junk?” Ruth exclaimed, clearly shocked.

Even though five million wasn’t a huge amount for her, it still seemed like a foolish choice.

“You really want to buy it?” Florence asked, her eyes wide in disbelief.

“Why? Don’t you want to sell it?” Dustin replied.

“I’ll sell it! Of course, I’ll sell it!” Florence nodded eagerly, a big smile spreading across her face.

Even though she would still be losing money selling it for five million, it was better than getting nothing at all.

“Dustin, this Luminianth Root is clearly useless. Are you sure you want to go through with this?” Dahlia asked, surprised.

“Oh, come on! What are you saying? This Luminianth Root is a rare gem!” Florence exclaimed, taken aback.

She finally had a chance to sell it, and now Dahlia was trying to ruin it for her.

“What if he changes his mind?” Florence worried.

Dustin nodded confidently. “Of course, I’ll buy it. I think it’s very useful.”

“Exactly! This is a precious Luminianth Root, the rarest you can find! You’re definitely getting your money’s worth for five million!” Florence insisted frantically, as if this deal was her lifeline.

“Dustin! Five million dollars is a lot of money! Do you even have that much?” James asked, raising an eyebrow.

“I don’t, but she does,” Dustin said, pointing at Ruth, who was standing nearby.

Ruth stood beside Dustin, looking surprised.

“Me?” she exclaimed, rolling her eyes. “I won’t do something so stupid!”

“Can you think of it as me borrowing your money? This is really important to me,” Dustin said earnestly.

“Fine, fine! I give in. Here, take your five million dollars. Just remember this as a lesson.” Ruth couldn’t say no, especially since five million wasn’t a lot for her.

In the end, they completed the deal.

After Dustin received the money, Julie burst out laughing. “Dustin! You’re even dumber than I thought! The Luminianth Root is obviously defective, and you still insisted on buying it! I have to applaud your courage!”

“Good thing there’s someone foolish enough to buy it, or we’d really be in trouble!” Florence added with a smirk.

“Five million for a piece of junk, how impressive!” James chuckled, shaking his head in disbelief.

“How do you all know it’s junk?” Dustin asked, unbothered.

“Are you blind? Can’t you see? It’s wilted! If that’s not junk, what is?” Julie shot back.

“That’s just your opinion. To me, it’s a priceless treasure,” Dustin replied with a smile.

“A priceless treasure? You’re not just blind; you must be brain-dead! How can you think a piece of junk is a treasure?” Julie laughed uncontrollably.

“How clueless can you be?” James added, pursing his lips.

“Have you all thought about why this Luminianth Root is wilted?” Dustin said, grinning.

“What?” Everyone looked surprised.

“Why?” Ruth asked, intrigued.

Instead of answering, Dustin held the Luminianth Root tightly and slammed it onto the ground with a loud “Thunk!”

The Luminianth Root broke into pieces.

“Dustin! Have you lost your mind?!” Ruth gasped, completely shocked.

Dustin had just destroyed the item they bought for five million dollars!

“Is he really out of his mind?” she thought, struggling to believe what she saw.

“Even if you’re rich, you shouldn’t waste something like that!” she couldn’t help but think.

Julle laughed even louder. “He’s brain-dead after all!”
