Natasha sighed and took another sip of her coffee. “I get it, Quentin. It’s a big deal. But why are you so worked up?”
Quentin ran a hand through his hair in frustration. “Because! If they control the market, we could lose everything! We need to act fast!”
Mr. Wangley, who had been quietly observing, finally spoke up. “Natasha, what do you think? Should we look into this further?”
Natasha leaned back in her chair, considering their words. “I suppose we should. But let’s not panic just yet. We need a plan.”
Quentin nodded, his expression softening a bit. “Right. We need to figure out how to compete or find a way to get our hands on some of that Eternumax ourselves.”
“Agreed,” Natasha said, feeling a bit more alert now. “Let’s gather more information and see what our options are.”
With a renewed sense of purpose, the three of them started discussing their next steps, ready to tackle the challenge ahead.
“What exactly are you saying?” Natasha asked, raising an eyebrow.
Quentin responded firmly, “You have two choices. You can either develop the Eternumax quickly, or you can work with Edwin Hummer!”
Natasha shook her head. “Our research on the Eternumax has been stolen. It’s too late to start over. And working with Edwin Hummer? That’s out of the question.”
Quentin pressed on, “You don’t agree with either option, but you don’t have a solution, do you? The family relies on you, and this is how you repay us?”
“I have my own way of handling this. You don’t need to worry,” Natasha replied calmly.
“This is about the family’s interests! I won’t let you mess this up! If you don’t come up with a good solution in three days, I will report you to the board!” Quentin warned.
“Do what you want,” Natasha said with a shrug.
“Fine! Just wait and see!” Quentin scoffed as he walked out, convinced Natasha would fail this time.
Once she stumbled, the family would need someone to blame, and he’d have a reason to force her out.
Not long after Quentin left, Ruth burst in, excitement written all over her face.
“We did it! We did it!” she shouted, looking for Natasha.
“Did what?” Natasha asked, confused.
“The Immortunol! Dustin managed to produce it!” Ruth said, pulling out a small bottle and pouring a bright green pill into her hand.
The pill gleamed and looked beautiful, almost like a pearl, and it even had a light fragrance.
“Oh? This is Immortunol?” Natasha said, her eyes wide with surprise at its appearance.
“It’s really delicious! Do you want to try it?” Ruth exclaimed, excitedly showing off her find.
“Really? Do you think it’s a snack?” Natasha was confused by her sister’s enthusiasm. Still, she picked up the Immortunol and popped it into her mouth.
It dissolved right away, and a cool feeling spread through her body as she swallowed it. A tingling sensation washed over her, making her feel refreshed. All her tiredness seemed to vanish instantly.
“Immortunol is amazing!” Natasha couldn’t hide her surprise. She was amazed at how quickly it started working.
“Wow, Natasha! Your face looks different! You look younger and so much brighter!” Ruth exclaimed, her eyes wide with excitement.
“What are you talking about? That’s impossible!” Natasha rolled her eyes, not convinced.
“It’s true! Look in the mirror!” Ruth said, pulling out a compact mirror and handing it to her sister.
“What?” Natasha gasped as she looked in the mirror. To her shock, her skin looked better. The dark circles under her eyes, which had been there from staying up all night, were gone. Her skin felt smooth and looked bright and hydrated.
“Oh my goodness! This is incredible!” she said in disbelief, touching her face.
One Immortunol had made her feel rejuvenated, erased her dark circles, and improved her skin, making her look more attractive. It was a total game-changer!
“How do you like it? I wasn’t lying, was I?” Ruth asked, looking very pleased.
She had been busy helping Dustin ever since they got the Blood Luminianth Root the day before. She thought she was playing a big role in making Immortunol.
“It’s amazing, isn’t it?” she said, momentarily lost in her thoughts before breaking into a smile.
Honestly, she didn’t expect them to actually produce Immortunol, but Dustin had once again proved her wrong. He was truly their lucky star!
“Sis, not only does Immortunol work wonders, but it also costs much less to make than Eternumax. We spent 5 million dollars on the Blood Luminianth Root, and Dustin diluted it with water, which means it can last us for years!” Ruth exclaimed, sharing the exciting news.
“Really? That’s fantastic!” Natasha felt her spirits lift.
From what she had seen, she was convinced that Immortunol worked better than Eternumax. Plus, controlling the production cost could lead to a major breakthrough!
It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that once Immortunol hit the market, it could take Eternumax down.
“Ruth, we need to keep Immortunol a secret,” Natasha said.
“Why?” Ruth asked, puzzled.
“Edwin is having a press release for the launch of Eternumax in a few days. We need to surprise him and hit him where it hurts. That will shock him in front of the press!”
