An Understated Dominance - Chapter 134
“You dare to hit someone from Boulderthorn? You must be tired of living!” Troy said, his expression turning cold and unfriendly.
Troy and Oliver were as close as brothers. If one of them was harmed, the other felt it deeply.
“Save me! Save me!” Tina cried, her eyes brightening with hope when she saw Oliver and Troy. She suddenly felt a surge of energy.
“Don’t worry, Ms. Hummer. With Oliver and me here, this guy won’t be able to hurt you!” Troy said confidently.
But before he could finish, Dustin slapped Tina hard, sending her flying across the table.
Troy’s confidence wavered as he realized Dustin’s unpredictable nature.
“You-!” Oliver shouted, furious.
“Bastard! You’re dead meat! Your whole family is going to pay! These two are the best fighters in Boulderthorn. You’re nothing compared to them! I’ll let them break every bone in your body before I make you suffer!” Tina snarled, standing up shakily, her face twisted with anger.
“Boulderthorn?!” The name sent whispers through the crowd.
Everyone knew Boulderthorn. It was one of the top two guilds in South City. The members were famous for their incredible strength and skill, able to move mountains with just a kick.
The top disciples were even more impressive, capable of wiping out a room full of people on their own.
“Who would have thought Boulderthorn had people here? This guy is really in trouble,” someone murmured.
“Very well deserved! Anyone who makes trouble here will pay dearly!”
“Kid, if I were you, I’d be begging for forgiveness on my knees. If you’re lucky, you might get to live,” a voice threatened.
The crowd buzzed with excitement, some whispering while others shouted their opinions about what was happening. They all agreed that Dustin had talent, but against the top disciples from Boulderthorn, he didn’t stand a chance.
“So what if you’re from Boulderthorn? You can’t stop me from doing what I want!” Dustin replied calmly, showing no fear.
“Crazy bastard! If I hadn’t gone easy on you last time, do you really think you’d get away without a scratch?” Oliver shouted, his anger growing.
“Oliver, let me deal with this,” Troy said, stepping forward with a serious expression. But Oliver stopped him, raising a hand. “Wait, do we really need to fight? This guy isn’t even part of a guild. If we accidentally kill him, people will think Boulderthorn bullies others,” he pointed out.
He then turned to the two bodyguards behind him. “Anna, Emma, take care of that punk! Don’t hold back!”
“Yes, sir!” the two women replied, drawing their swords.
Just two days earlier, they hadn’t been ready and lost to Dustin. But today, they weren’t going to make the same mistake.
“Mr. Williams! Are you sure about this? That guy isn’t an easy target. Don’t you think you’re underestimating him by sending just the two of them?” Tina asked, concerned.
“Don’t worry, Ms. Hummer. They’re very skilled. My father trained them. Beating him will be easy for them!” Oliver assured her, though he knew they were actually more skilled than he was.
“Alright! Then I’m counting on them,” Tina said, hoping for the best.
“I want my revenge!” Tina exclaimed with a wicked grin.
“Got it!” Oliver replied. At his signal, the two women sprang into action. One moved to the left of Dustin, and the other to the right, both focused and ready to strike.
“Zoom!”
As they closed in, their swords glinted sharply, showing off their impressive skills.
Just when everyone thought Dustin was about to be defeated, a loud “Clang!” echoed through the room. The two swords shattered into pieces with a force that sent the women flying through the air, as if they had been hit by a car.
Before they hit the ground, blood sprayed from their mouths, turning the air a deep red as they collapsed, unconscious.
