An Understated Dominance - Chapter 135
“Holy cow! What just happened?”
The crowd gasped at the sight of broken swords and the two women lying on the ground. They had thought Dustin was out of luck, but no one expected the Boulderthorn girls to be the ones defeated after that face-off.
Everyone in the room was shocked.
“Is this kid not just all talk?” Oliver’s eye twitched in disbelief. He had argued before that they weren’t ready for the attack, but this time it was clear that Dustin had skills that set him apart.
“So you do have some tricks up your sleeve. No wonder you dared to stir things up here,” Troy said with a narrow-eyed gaze and a sly smile.
While Anna and Emma weren’t a match for Troy’s skills, they could easily defeat an average fighter. Dustin’s quick victory over them showed just how capable he really was, even if it didn’t impress Troy.
“Mr. Williams! Didn’t you say this would be easy?” Tina shouted, her scarred face making her look menacing.
“It was just a small miscalculation. But don’t worry, this guy won’t stand a chance against me and Troy!” Oliver laughed awkwardly as he explained.
“Don’t worry, Ms. Hummer. I’ll make sure to get revenge for you!” Troy stepped forward and locked eyes with Dustin. “I admit you’ve got some talent. But too bad for you, you’re up against me today! Here’s your last chance: kneel down and beg for mercy now, and I might let you live.”
“Hey! Did you hear that? Kneel down! Otherwise, Troy will destroy you!” Oliver added, trying to push Dustin down.
“Really? Give me everything you’ve got,” Dustin replied calmly, unfazed by their taunts.
“Seriously? You really can’t take a hint! Do you even know who Troy is? He’s the Lightning Fist of Boulderthorn!”
“Who’s never fallen in battle!” Oliver bragged confidently.
The crowd erupted with excitement.
“What? Is he really the Lightning Fist, Troy Chapman?!”
“Oh my God! I can’t believe the Lightning Fist is here; this is getting interesting!”
“What’s Lightning Fist? Is he really that great?”
“He’s not just one of the best in Boulderthorn; he’s at the top! He could take on a hundred men at once! Isn’t that amazing?”
“Only a few people in Swinton can match the Lightning Fist’s skills. This kid is going to regret it!”
Once the crowd learned Troy’s true identity, they began to cheer for him. They had expected a regular fight, but now that a top fighter was in the ring, they realized how exciting this match could be.
Troy lifted his chin with pride, enjoying the crowd’s admiration. He loved being in the spotlight.
“Punk! Weren’t you so confident just now? Why are you quiet now? Are you scared?” Oliver taunted.
Even if Oliver wasn’t as impressive, his senior, Troy, was a true master. He had trained his whole life and was skilled at controlling his energy. No one in Swinton could compete with him.
“What’s a Lightning Fist? I’ve never heard of it,” Dustin said calmly.
His words sent the crowd into another frenzy.
“My goodness! Does he not value his life? He just insulted the Lightning Fist!”
“He clearly doesn’t understand how strong Lightning Fist is!”
“What a reckless fool! Thinking he knows everything! Let’s see how he handles this later!”
Everyone’s eyes were on Dustin, who seemed to have earned their anger and disbelief.
“Punk! You’ll pay for what you just said!” Troy’s face turned cold with anger.
Despite knowing his true identity, he was still acting recklessly. How foolish!
“I don’t care who you are. Leave now, or I won’t hold back!” Dustin shot back, his eyes blazing with fury as he focused solely on Tina. The others in the room didn’t even matter to him.
“Mr. Chapman! Kill him!” Tina felt a chill run down her spine as she locked eyes with Dustin, terrified. She just wanted him to take care of that crazy guy quickly.
“Punk! If you want to die so badly, I’ll make it happen!” Troy shouted, flexing his muscles and ripping his shirt open to reveal his strong physique.
His impressive muscles and flashy moves made a group of ladies gasp in admiration.
“Today, I’ll show you what it means to be a Lightning Fist!” Troy swiftly closed the gap between him and Dustin, jumping into the air and extending his arms like a hawk ready to strike.
Chapter 135
“How majestic! How astonishing!” the crowd thought in awe.
“Die!” Troy spun around, aiming his punch at Dustin’s head with incredible force.
The spectators watched, impressed by Troy’s powerful pose.
“How handsome!” someone exclaimed.
“He’s so majestic!” another added.
“Ms. Hummer, did you see that? That’s Troy’s signature move, the Lightning Fist! One punch could break mountains!” Oliver proudly explained.
“It would be best if he could—”
“Kill him with one slap!” Tina said with a sarcastic smile.
“One punch is definitely enough to take him out!” someone else added.
“This guy should feel honored to die at the hands of Lightning Fist!” another guest chimed in.
The crowd shook their heads, sure that Dustin was doomed. After all, he was up against the powerful Lightning Fist.
In Swinton, how many people could withstand a punch like that?
“You’re all just talk!” Dustin replied, his voice steady. He stood firm and threw a punch that surprised Troy.
“Boom!”
Their fists met with a loud crash. Dustin didn’t move, but the ground beneath him cracked. Troy, however, cried out in pain as blood appeared on his fist. He was sent flying across the room, crashing into the wall and spitting blood.
Before Troy could gather himself, Dustin was right in front of him, ready to strike again.
His moves weren’t flashy, but they were effective.
“Please spare me!” Troy begged, fear draining the color from his face. With a heavy thud, he fell to his knees.
