An Understated Dominance - Chapter 136
“Whoosh!” A strong gust of wind hit Troy’s face, making him wince in pain as he felt a bone in his body shift.
He stared at Dustin’s fist, which was just inches away from his chest. Even though it didn’t touch him, the power behind it made him shake with fear.
“Blargh!” Blood spilled from his mouth.
Dustin’s Fist Energy was so strong that it could have dislocated Troy’s bones with just one hit. The thought of what could have happened if that fist had landed was terrifying. He was fortunate to have knelt in time; otherwise, he would have been knocked out cold!
“Spare me! Please!” Troy begged, now on his knees. His face was pale, and all the confidence he had earlier was gone, replaced by sheer panic.
Instead of feeling shocked, he was filled with terror. When their fists had collided, Troy’s strength crumbled like glass, leaving him vulnerable to Dustin’s overwhelming force.
Every bone in his body ached. This kind of pain usually happened when there was a huge difference in skill levels. That’s why, as Dustin prepared to make another move, Troy chose to plead for mercy. He figured that begging on his knees was a small price to pay for his life.
“Don’t show up in front of me again!” Dustin said coldly.
“Yes, right away!” Troy wasted no time fleeing the room, not caring about his dignity.
“Um.” Everyone stood in shock as they watched Troy escape.
The elite warrior, known as Lightning Fist from Boulderthorn, had actually run away from a fight?
Everyone’s mouths dropped open in disbelief.
One could have seen this coming.
At first, they thought Troy’s arrival would fix everything, but now the situation had completely changed.
If they hadn’t seen it with their own eyes, they wouldn’t have believed it. A legendary warrior, undefeated in battle, was running away in fear!
“How is this possible?!” Oliver gasped in disbelief. That was his incredible senior, Troy Chapman!
As a student of Boulderthorn, Troy was a master of inner energy, with unmatched skills and talents. Oliver couldn’t understand how this was happening. He even knelt down and begged for mercy!
“What’s going on?!” Oliver wondered.
“No way! This can’t be true!” Tina shook her head in shock. The top disciple from Boulderthorn couldn’t be beaten by just anyone.
She wasn’t the only one thinking this; everyone in the room felt the same way. But the truth was right in front of them, and no amount of denial would change what had happened.
“Did you really say you would stand up for her?” Dustin looked at Oliver.
“Listen, you’re lucky my senior got hurt today. Otherwise, you wouldn’t have gotten away so easily! Next time, you won’t be so lucky!” With that, Oliver hurried away.
If Troy couldn’t handle Dustin, then didn’t that make him an easy target?
“Mr. Williams! Mr. Williams!” Tina yelled, but Oliver just ran faster, disappearing from sight.
She stood there, stunned.
“As I said, I’ll make you pay back tenfold for what you did!” A cold voice echoed nearby.
Tina turned around and saw Dustin standing right behind her.
“I’m warning you! Don’t mess with me! I’m Edwin Hummer’s daughter! If you touch me, you and your whole family will regret it!” she shouted desperately.
Dustin smirked. “Sure, I’ll play this game with the Hummers. But first, I need to get my revenge!” He reached out and grabbed Tina.
A terrifying scream rang out through the hotel, and the screams continued every few seconds.
When Julie arrived at the hotel, soaked from the rain, she was shocked to see Tina being tortured. She froze in disbelief. Earlier, when Dustin left the hospital, Julie sensed something was wrong and decided to follow him. She never imagined he would challenge Ms. Hummer in front of so many people.
Tina looked unrecognizable, and horror gripped Julie as she realized all of Tina’s limbs were detached. The bloody scene was disturbing.
“Stop! Stop it right now! Dustin! Are you crazy? Let Ms. Hummer go!” Julie yelled as she ran toward them.
Dustin ignored her. He only looked down at Tina, who lay on the ground, barely clinging to life.
“I won’t kill you tonight, but that doesn’t mean I forgive you. In three days, you better kneel down and apologize to Dahlia! Or else, you’ll face the consequences!” he warned.
After saying this, he pressed two fingers into Tina’s pressure points in a way he had developed himself. It was a deadly technique; she would slowly die over the next three days.
He was the only one who could break the curse.
“Crazy bastard! You’re a maniac! Now that you’ve hurt Ms. Hummer, you’re not the only one who will suffer! We’re all doomed because of you!” Julie shouted at Dustin as he turned to leave.
But Dustin didn’t even look at her. He kept walking toward the exit, and the crowd parted to let him pass, too afraid to stop him.
“Hurry! Secure the premises!” a voice shouted from outside.
Suddenly, a group of tall fighters rushed into the room, quickly surrounding everyone inside.
“Who dared to cause trouble at my place?!” A man with dark sunglasses and a cigar walked in, giving off a dangerous vibe.
“This is great! Sir Zims is finally here! We can get this under control!” someone in the crowd said.
“Sir Zims is the right-hand man of the Hummer family. He won’t let Dustin get away with beating up Ms. Hummer!” another person added.
“Even though he’s skilled, he can’t take on hundreds of men by himself!” someone else remarked.
The atmosphere grew tense as more people realized help had arrived.
“Sir Zims! You’re just in time! Dustin not only caused trouble but also beat up Ms. Hummer!” Julie quickly reported.
“What? He dared to hit Ms. Hummer? Which coward did this? If you have the guts, come forward! I’ll tear you apart myself!” Mason, Sir Zims, seethed with anger.
“It was me.” Dustin stepped forward slowly.
“You—!” Mason started, but his expression changed when he recognized him. “M—Mr. Rhys? It’s you?!”
Dustin simply said, “Scram!”
“Yes, Sir!” Mason nodded and stepped aside. The room fell silent once again.
