The night was dark, and the rain fell heavily, leaving the streets deserted.

Suddenly, a convoy of black Hummer vehicles sped through, splashing water everywhere as they pulled up to the entrance of a hospital.

The doors swung open, and a group of strong, muscular men stepped out. One of them, a large man with a beard, was smoking a cigar.

He towered over most people, standing well over six feet tall, with impressive muscles on his arms and thighs.

“Guild master! That man is still inside; he never left,” said one of the assassins, pointing to a floor in the building.

He had been waiting for backup while keeping an eye on Dustin.

“I thought you could handle this guy alone. Why am I still involved?” The bearded man scowled, clearly annoyed.

He was Dracor, the guild master of the White Dragon guild.

“Guild master, don’t underestimate him. He took us down like dominoes!” the assassin replied nervously.

“Alright, surround the building. The sooner we finish this, the sooner we can rest,” Dracor ordered, his impatience clear.

If it weren’t for Edwin’s orders, he wouldn’t have bothered to come down himself.

“Stop! Who goes there?” shouted a group of bodyguards in suits as they rushed out of the hospital. They were from the Harmon family.

“What? There are men protecting him? Fine, you can use them for practice,” Dracor said, gesturing to his men.

“Yes, guild master!” his followers grinned wickedly and charged at the bodyguards, eager for a fight.

“Stop them!” the bodyguards yelled, determined to defend their territory. They moved forward together to confront the guild members.

Chaos erupted as the two sides clashed. Despite the bodyguards’ efforts, the scene quickly became a fierce battle.

The bodyguards were well-trained, but they were no match for the skilled members of the White Dragon guild. Eventually, the pressure became too much for them, and they had to retreat.

Suddenly, a powerful voice roared, “Who dares to challenge the Harmon family?” Stephan stepped forward with a few of his comrades. As he moved through the crowd, his internal energy pushed back the guild members, creating space around him.

Dracor, with a cold smile, sneered, “Oh, are you a martial artist with internal energy? How dare you show off in front of an expert? Move aside!”

Stephan didn’t hold back. He launched fist after fist, forcing the guild members to retreat. They were no match for his skills.

“Reckless fool!” Dracor shouted, taking a deep breath. He unleashed a wave of energy aimed directly at Stephan. The attack cut through the rain and headed straight for him.

Luckily, Stephan sensed the danger and quickly shifted to a defensive stance.

“Boom!” The sound of the explosion echoed as Stephan’s defense shattered. He was knocked back about 30 feet, leaving deep marks on the ground, and crashed against a wall, spitting out blood.

“Weakling,” Dracor scoffed, disappointed that Stephan couldn’t withstand even one blow.

Stephan, shaken but still determined, glared up at the imposing figure before him and asked, “Who are you?”

In the dim light, he couldn’t see the man clearly, but Dracor stepped closer, menacingly replying, “How dare you hurt my men without knowing who I am?”

Just then, the streetlights illuminated Dracor’s bearded face, and Stephan recognized him. “You—You are Dracor Milfroy?”

Stephan stared at the man in front of him, fear spreading across his face. His worst nightmare had come true.

“Since you know who I am, let’s make this easy. Kneel and beg for your life. If I’m feeling generous, I might let you go,” Dracor said with a mocking laugh, clearly enjoying Stephan’s fear.

“Both of you, go and tell Mr. Rhys to escape. I’ll hold them off!” Stephan gritted his teeth, ready to fight for his life.

“Yes, Sir!” The bodyguards behind him rushed into the building without hesitation. Their mission was to protect Dustin, and they were prepared to do so at any cost.

“Heh, do you really think you can stop me?” Dracor smirked.

“I’ll do my best to buy him some time!” Stephan replied, determination in his voice.

“Don’t blame me for your death when you asked for it!” Dracor scoffed again, then launched himself at Stephan like a bolt of lightning.

“I’m going all out!” Stephan took a deep breath and braced himself for the impact.

The two of them collided with a loud explosion. Stephan was thrown back as if hit by a truck, landing heavily on the ground with a thud. Blood poured from his mouth and nose, and he struggled to get up.

“Don’t overestimate your abilities!” Dracor taunted, his strength far surpassing Stephan’s.

“Mr. Rhys, I did my best. I hope I bought you enough time to escape,” Stephan whispered, lying in the rain with despair in his eyes. Dracor was on another level—he had reached the highest tier of martial arts and had trained his body relentlessly.

Dracor was as tough as steel, and it was no surprise that he was known as the best martial artist in Swinton.

Stephan knew he stood no chance against him. He couldn’t even put up a decent fight.

“It is an honor for you to die at my hands!” Dracor sneered as he approached Stephan, looking down at him like he was just a bug.

He raised his leg, ready to stomp on Stephan’s chest and finish him off.

Suddenly, all the windows of the hospital shattered at once.

A dark figure swooped down and landed hard on the ground. The cement cracked beneath him, spreading out like a spider’s web.

“Who is it?” Everyone stared, confused and surprised.
