The next morning, Dustin was woken up by a knock on his door. He opened it to find Hunter standing there.

“Mr. Anderson! What brings you here so early?” Dustin yawned.

“Good news, Mr. Rhys!” Hunter said excitedly. “I know where we can find the rare herb you’re looking for—the Gozoraberry!”

“Gozoraberry? Are you sure?” Dustin’s curiosity was sparked.

The Gozoraberry was hard to find and very valuable. If he could get it, he would only need three more special herbs to create the Longevitum!

“I’m sure! The Gozoraberry used to be a treasure from Stoneray Valley, but someone recently bought it for a high price. That person is staying at Fallridge Haven!” Hunter explained.

“Oh? Who is it?” Dustin asked, raising an eyebrow.

“It’s Caden Murray!” Hunter replied.

“Caden Murray? What does he need the Gozoraberry for?” Dustin’s expression grew serious. He had never met Caden but had some connections with the Murray family.

“I heard his daughter has an illness, and he needs the Gozoraberry to help her,” Hunter said.

“His daughter… Is it Sheila Murray?” Dustin asked.

“Oh, you know her?” Hunter seemed surprised.

“I met her just yesterday,” Dustin nodded.

“Mr. Rhys, what do you think we should do?” Hunter asked.

“I really need the Gozoraberry. We have to go to Fallridge Haven today!” Without wasting any time, Dustin got ready and hopped into Hunter’s car.

The Gozoraberry was crucial for him, and rare herbs like it were not easy to find. If he missed this chance, he knew he might never find another one. So, he had to act quickly.

Thirty minutes later, Dustin found himself in a lounge at Fallridge Haven. Caden Murray sat in the center of the room, looking down at Dustin and Hunter with an air of authority. Caden had always held a position of power, which made even someone like Hunter feel a bit inferior.

The Murrays came from a military background. Caden’s father, Christopher Murray, was a general known for his many battles and achievements. As the firstborn son, Caden also held a high rank in the military and had significant influence.

“Mr. Anderson, what brings you here today?” Caden asked.

“Mr. Caden, to be honest, we’re here for the Gozoraberry,” Hunter replied directly.

“The Gozoraberry? You seem quite knowledgeable about it. However, I also need it, so I can’t help you,” Caden said, looking away.

“If you’re planning to use the Gozoraberry to cure your daughter, I think that won’t work. It’s only a temporary fix and won’t fully cure her,” Dustin said bluntly.

“What? Who are you to speak here?” Caden shot back, glaring at him.

“Mr. Murray, this is Dustin Rhys. He’s a friend of mine and saved your daughter yesterday,” Hunter quickly explained.

“Oh, so you’re the one who helped Sheila?” Caden’s expression softened.

“Just tell me what you want as compensation. Money? Goods?” he asked, looking at Dustin.

Dustin wanted something in return. He knew the Murrays had plenty of money, so he wasn’t too worried about that.

“I want the Gozoraberry,” Dustin said directly.

Caden frowned at this request. “Young man, if you were asking for riches or jewelry, I would gladly agree. But the Gozoraberry is something I can’t give you. I need it to help my daughter with her illness!”

“I’ve already told you that the Gozoraberry won’t cure Sheila’s disease. But I can actually help her,” Dustin replied confidently.

“You can cure her? Why should I trust you?” Caden was getting annoyed. This young man seemed to think he could do whatever he wanted just because he had once saved his daughter.

“Has your daughter always suffered from chills and monthly viral infections?” Dustin asked.

“So what if she does?” Caden raised an eyebrow.

“Sheila has Polarfrost. Over time, a venom called Havaska has built up in her body. Medication can only help temporarily. To truly cure her, we need to improve her circulation and boost her metabolism,” Dustin explained.

“That sounds ridiculous! I’ve never even heard of Polarfrost!” Caden shouted in frustration.

“It doesn’t matter if you haven’t heard of it. Just let me meet Sheila, and I can show you I’m right,” Dustin urged.

“That’s not necessary. I can take care of my daughter’s health myself. I don’t need your help. Now, please leave!” Caden demanded.

It seemed absurd to him that a stranger would think he could solve such a serious problem.

How could a young man just appear out of nowhere and claim he could cure his daughter of a disease that had troubled her for over 20 years? It was a disease that even the best doctors in the country couldn’t treat. What made him think he could fix it?

“Mr. Murray, Sheila can’t wait any longer. Please think about my offer,” Dustin urged.

“Get out!” Caden shouted, slamming his fist on the table in anger.

“Since you don’t trust me, Mr. Murray, I’ll leave. But here, take this pill. You can give it to Sheila when the virus strikes again. It will keep her safe for now.” With that, Dustin placed a red pill on the table and turned to leave.

Dustin understood that no matter what he said, he wouldn’t change Caden’s mind. It was hard for someone like Caden to trust a stranger.

“Mr. Murray, Mr. Rhys is not just anyone. I wish you the best,” Hunter said with a slight nod before he followed Dustin out.

Caden scoffed, “They don’t know what they’re talking about!” He felt disgusted. How dare that young man speak to him like that? What arrogance!

“Caden, who were those two?” Lily Doyle asked as she walked in.

“Just two annoying guys not worth our time,” Caden replied casually.

“Do you think this pill can really cure Sheila?” Lily asked, picking up the red pill and examining it closely. She remembered what Dustin had said and felt intrigued.

“Ha! That’s nonsense. Just throw it away,” Caden waved his hand dismissively. He couldn’t believe that one little pill could save anyone.

While they were talking, a staff member burst into the room, looking very worried. “Sir, Ma’am, please hurry! It’s Miss Sheila! She just fainted!”
