An Understated Dominance - Chapter 166
Malcolm was surprised that Natasha accepted the needles so easily. He thought she would at least pretend to be modest and decline his offer.
“Before I forget, Dr. Shane, since you have a good eye for valuable things, I have something I’d like your help with,” Natasha said after taking the golden needles.
“Oh? What is it? Let me see,” Malcolm replied confidently.
“Here.” Natasha showed him a green pill. Malcolm took the pill and examined it closely, nodding with satisfaction. “This pill is crystal clear and has a bright shine. It even smells nice. It looks quite special!” he said.
“Great judgment, Dr. Shane!” Natasha gave him a thumbs up.
“This pill is called Immortunol. It can enhance beauty, promote longevity, and has anti-aging effects. If you’re not worried that it might be dangerous, you can try it, Dr. Shane,” she continued.
“And what if it is dangerous? I’m not afraid of poison!” Malcolm smiled proudly and swallowed the Immortunol right away.
As soon as he took it, a cool and refreshing feeling spread through his body, reaching his limbs. For a moment, he felt a surge of energy, and an amazing sense of clarity washed over him.
He felt all his exhaustion lift, and he became much more energized. Most importantly, this wasn’t just a quick boost. The effects of the pill kept filling him with vitality.
Malcolm realized that if someone took the pill regularly, it could really change their life.
“Brilliant! This is truly amazing! It’s like a treasure!” he exclaimed, impressed by how extraordinary Immortunol was.
“Excuse me, young lady, where did you get this Immortunol? Do you have more? Could you sell me a few?” Malcolm asked, his eyes sparkling with excitement.
He usually didn’t get so enthusiastic, but the effects of Immortunol were incredible! Even the Vitalitum Dr. Watkins gave him couldn’t compare to this amazing pill.
“Dr. Shane, Immortunol is still being tested. We aren’t selling it to the public yet, but if you like it, I can give you some,” Natasha replied with a warm smile.
“Wow! That’s so generous of you! If you don’t mind me asking, who created Immortunol? I’d love to meet them,” Malcolm said, beaming.
“The genius behind it is right here in front of you,” Natasha said, smiling knowingly.
“Are you saying Mr. Rhys is the one who made Immortunol?” Malcolm’s eyes widened in surprise.
It’s important to understand that having medical skills and producing medicines are two very different things. They may seem related, but they require different expertise.
Being good at treating patients doesn’t mean someone can create medicine, and the opposite is also true. For example, Dr. Watkins was skilled in making medicine, while Malcolm excelled in medical skills.
It’s rare to find someone who is skilled in both areas, and most experts are usually in their seventies. To have someone in their twenties who is talented in both fields is almost unbelievable!
“I just got lucky and found a formula,” Dustin said with a modest smile.
“You’re too modest, Mr. Rhys. Even with a prescription, it’s not easy to make such excellent medicine. You have real talent! It was a pleasure to meet you today, and I’m truly impressed!” Malcolm said, bowing deeply to Dustin.
Dustin was remarkable—he treated patients and produced medicine with such skill at a young age. He was indeed a genius!
“You flatter me, Dr. Shane,” Dustin replied, quickly reaching out to help Malcolm up.
Suddenly, Natasha spoke up. “Would you be interested in collaborating with us, Dr. Shane?”
“Collaborate? How?” Malcolm asked, intrigued.
“You’re a leader in the medical field, a symbol of authority. If you promote Immortunol, I believe it will significantly boost our sales,” Natasha explained with a smile.
Malcolm had many connections and held an important position in the medical industry. Having him endorse Immortunol would attract a lot of attention, especially from high-ranking officials and nobility.
“You certainly have a knack for business, young lady. But why should I agree to this?” Malcolm asked, not easily swayed.
“If you agree, we’ll provide you with Immortunol for free all year long, plus you’ll get priority access. You’ve seen how effective it is. By agreeing, you could save many lives. This is a noble and beneficial act! With your strong reputation, I’m sure you wouldn’t want such a valuable treatment to go unnoticed, right?” Natasha urged, making her case.
Malcolm considered her words. “It does sound like a good deal. Alright, I’ll work with you this time.”
nodded thoughtfully.
After all, he had received the ancient manuscript from Dustin. This was the least he could do to repay him.
**Chapter 166**
“Thank you, Dr. Shane! We really appreciate it. Immortunol will officially launch in two days. Please come and support us then!” Natasha smiled brightly.
“Sure!” Malcolm replied enthusiastically, not realizing he might regret this decision later.
Meanwhile, in a mansion overlooking a lake, Quentin stood up to greet Mr. Wangley, an older man with white eyebrows.
“Do we have the results yet, Mr. Wangley?” Quentin asked, trying to hide his anxiety. He hadn’t slept well for the past two days because of Eternumax. He believed that teaming up with the Hummers was the best way forward.
“Mr. Harmon, Sir Hummer has agreed to work with us, but he has one condition,” Mr. Wangley said, quickly drinking from his cup of tea.
“What’s the condition?” Quentin asked, eager to know.
“Sir Hummer wants you to pressure Natasha from all sides and force her to step down,” Mr. Wangley explained.
Quentin laughed heartily. “That’s exactly what I plan to do!” he exclaimed. Ever since they were children, Natasha had always overshadowed him, and the family had never valued his contributions.
Now that they had lost Eternumax, he felt this was his chance to reclaim the family’s respect and possibly take Natasha’s position.
“Mr. Harmon, the Hummers are on board, but we still need money to buy Eternumax. How many boxes do you want to purchase?” Mr. Wangley asked.
“The more, the better! Let’s use all the money we have, and if that’s not enough, we can borrow more!” Quentin decided confidently.
“Isn’t that a bit too risky?” Mr. Wangley replied, concerned.
Quentin felt confident about his decision.
“How is this risky? We have the market research report for Eternumax, and it looks really promising! Many millionaires want it. If we buy a lot now and sell it at a higher price later, we’ll make a huge profit!” Quentin said with excitement.
He knew that the profits would match the money invested. In time, his wealth could grow ten to twenty times. Then, he would be in control of the family.
Even Natasha Harmon would have to respect him then!
