“Ask the old man?” Quentin looked shocked at first, then his expression turned serious. “Are you kidding me? The old man is dead! How can you ask him anything?”

“He might be dead, but his body is still warm. I have a way to bring him back to life,” Dustin said with a slight smile.

“That’s ridiculous! Do you think you’re a god? Bringing the dead back to life? You might as well say you can fly!” Quentin laughed mockingly.

“Who does this young man think he is, speaking like that?” someone in the crowd questioned.

“Right! Even Dr. Shane wouldn’t claim he could do that. This kid is full of himself!” another voice chimed in.

“I think he just wants to impress Ms. Harmon,” someone else added.

The people around Dustin were filled with doubt and scorn. How could he possibly bring someone back to life? It seemed impossible.

“Whether it’s nonsense or not, we’ll see soon enough,” Dustin replied calmly as he approached the old man.

“Hey! What do you think you’re doing? Don’t mess with me! My father’s body is still warm, and I’ve already called the police!” the middle-aged man warned, looking anxious.

“Calm down. I just want to take a look at your father. Maybe I can bring you the justice you need,” Dustin said.

“I don’t even know you! Why should I let you examine him?” the middle-aged man shouted back.

“Mr. Rhys is the chief physician of Harmon Pharmaceuticals. If your father really died because of Immortunol, we are ready to take full responsibility,” Natasha spoke up, supporting Dustin without hesitation.

“Alright, if he’s a doctor, then let him take a look,” the middle-aged man finally relented.

“If it was really Immortunol that killed him, we can help you!” many others agreed.

Dustin noticed the man hesitating and said, “Do you want your father to die without knowing what happened?”

“Fine! I want to see what you can do!” The middle-aged man gritted his teeth and stepped aside.

Dustin bent down to look at the body quickly. “There’s no breath or pulse. It looks like this old man is really dead. Since he’s foaming at the mouth, it seems he died from poisoning.”

“Did you all hear that? The Harmon family’s doctor said it was poisoning! My father was poisoned by Immortunol!” shouted the middle-aged man.

The crowd gasped in shock. They began to whisper and point fingers at Natasha, their eyes filled with suspicion.

“Dustin! What are you saying?! Did you even check properly? You’re just trying to blame the Harmons!” Jessica hissed quietly.

She started to think that Dustin might be a spy for the Hummer family. At such a crucial moment, he claimed the old man died from poisoning. Wasn’t he making things worse?

“Cousin, it seems like your boyfriend is clueless. By saying that, he’s saying you sold fake medicine that killed someone!” Quentin nearly laughed out loud.

Could someone be this foolish? He was only making the situation worse!

“This is getting interesting…” Edwin thought to himself as he watched from the crowd.

He couldn’t believe that Dustin would add insult to injury. This was more than he expected!

“Based on your reactions, I believe you all trust what I said, right?” Dustin said, looking directly at the man.

“We believe you! Of course, we believe you! You are honest for exposing the dark side of the Harmon family!” the middle-aged man exclaimed, nodding enthusiastically.

As he praised Dustin, a small smile appeared on his face, but it quickly vanished, though Dustin noticed it.

“Now that you believe me, I’m going to save your father,” Dustin said with a cheeky grin.

“Save? My father is already dead! How can you save him?” the middle-aged man asked, shocked.

“I have my ways,” Dustin replied confidently.

Suddenly, he slapped the old man hard across the face. There was a loud crack as the old man’s dentures flew out and landed in someone’s glass.

Before anyone could react, Dustin kept slapping the old man until his cheeks were swollen and blood started dripping from his nose.

“Hey! Are you crazy? Why are you hitting my father?” The man turned pale with fear.

“I’m trying to save your father. This is a secret technique that can bring people back from the dead. You’ll see soon,” Dustin said, delivering a few more hard slaps.

The old man’s head swelled up like a balloon, and tears streamed down his face.

“Stop it! You lunatic, stop it!” The middle-aged man yelled, furious, and rushed at Dustin, but Dustin easily pushed him away.

“Is this guy really a doctor? I’ve never seen anyone save a person like this before,” someone in the crowd murmured.

“What kind of bizarre technique is this? He’s just beating up a dead body!” another person exclaimed.

“Is he insane? How could a doctor treat someone like this?” they whispered in disbelief.

“Why is he acting so violently when the man is already dead?”

“The doctor is corrupt! The Harmon family is rotten to the core! What is happening in this world?”

The crowd reacted to Dustin’s shocking behavior with anger. They believed that the dead deserved respect.

Hitting a corpse like this was simply inhumane.

“This guy is insane! He’s attacking my father’s body! The Harmon family killed him, and now they’re treating him like this! Is there anyone who can help me?” A middle-aged man fell to the ground, crying in despair.

“Dustin, stop!” Jessica’s face went pale with fear.

“He’s lost his mind! This is crazy!” Quentin shook his head in disbelief.

“What’s happening?” Ruth was bewildered.

“This is getting interesting,” Edwin said, clearly enjoying the chaos.

Just when everyone thought Dustin had truly lost it, a loud gasp echoed through the crowd.

“Wait, did I just see the dead man’s finger move?”

“Did you see that too? I thought I was imagining it.”

“Not just his fingers! Look, there are tears coming from his eyes!”

The crowd stared in shock, noticing something strange about the body.

They exchanged confused glances. Could slapping someone really bring them back to life?

“He’s tougher than I thought,” Dustin said with a smirk, finally stopping his attack.

“I guess I need to try harder to wake him up. Ruth, get me my knife, the one I used for butchering pigs. I’ll cut his head to bring him back to life.”

As soon as he said this, the ‘corpse’ suddenly sat up with a scream.
