“W–how is this possible?!” Nigel gasped, his mouth open and disbelief written all over his face.

He was finally witnessing the true power of the Four Scoundrels. Any one of them could easily take him out.

It felt like fate that someone like him, an expert, had been defeated by a doctor they all looked down on. It was almost unbelievable!

“How can this guy be so strong?” Claudia said, her eyes wide with shock. At first, she thought Dustin was just a shady character who relied on dirty tricks, so she never expected him to be so skilled in martial arts. He was much better than her!

Seeing his strength at such a young age made her realize she was no longer the best among men.

“Dustin is so cool!” Sheila cheered, her eyes sparkling.

After sharing glances, the other girls began to look at him with admiration too.

Feeling the attention, Dustin walked over to Brent and asked, “Who sent you here?”

“Today’s my day of reckoning anyway, so just kill me!” Brent shouted through clenched teeth.

“Killing you won’t help me at all. If you talk, I’ll let you live,” Dustin replied.

“I’ll die either way if I reveal anything!” Brent said seriously.

“You mean the spider venom in your stomach, right?” Dustin asked, raising his eyebrows. He then took out a golden needle and stabbed it into Brent’s abdomen.

Immediately, a bulge appeared on Brent’s stomach, moving violently as if something inside him was fighting for its life.

After a few moments of struggling, the movement stopped, and the bulge became still.

Dustin carefully pulled out the golden needle, now stained with a bit of black liquid.

“The venom is gone. You should be able to speak now,” he said flatly.

Brent gasped, his face shifting to one of fear and horror. He realized that the Four Scoundrels had been controlled by someone who used venom to keep them in line. Just the thought of resisting could cause pain worse than death. They had tried many ways to get rid of the venom, but nothing worked and often made the pain worse.

But here was Dustin, who had removed the spider venom with just a needle. It felt like a miracle to Brent.

“I’m skilled in handling poisons and venom. If you want your freedom, you have to be honest with me,” Dustin said without emotion.

Brent hesitated for a long moment before finally giving in. “Okay, I’ll tell you the truth, but you have to promise to spare both of us.”

Who would choose death when they could choose life?

“Deal,” Dustin replied, nodding.

“To be honest, the person who ordered us to kidnap you was—” Before Brent could finish, the door burst open.

Xavier rushed in with a group of elite guards. He quickly spotted Brent.

“It’s the Four Scoundrels again! Prepare to die!” Without waiting for anyone to react, Xavier smashed his fists into Brent’s skull.

It was quick and violent. Blood covered Xavier’s hands.

“Huh?” Dustin narrowed his eyes. Had Xavier killed him to keep him quiet?

“Sheila!”

“Claudia! Are you guys okay?” After killing Brent, Xavier quickly turned to Sheila and Claudia, wiping blood off his hands.

“We’re fine. Luckily, Dustin came to help us just in time,” Sheila said with a forced smile.

“Dustin?” Xavier’s head snapped towards the man.

“What are you doing here?” he asked, looking down at Dustin with a sneer.

“What a coincidence,” Dustin replied casually.

“Coincidence? You were there when Sheila was ambushed before, and now you’re here again. How is that a coincidence?” Xavier scoffed, glaring at him.

“What’s your point?” Dustin shot back.

“I think you’re working with the Four Scoundrels to get close to Sheila!” Xavier accused.

“It’s not like that,” Sheila began, but Xavier interrupted her.

“Don’t be naive, Sheila! We don’t know this guy or what he wants. We need to interrogate him for your safety. Get him!” he ordered, and the elite guards readied their guns.

“Stop! I brought Dustin here, and I can vouch for him! He’s not a bad guy!” Ruth stepped forward, trying to calm things down.

“Whether he’s bad or not, we’ll find out once we catch him!” Xavier snapped.

“Are you really that stubborn? Can’t you see you’re being cruel to an innocent person?” Ruth was getting frustrated with Xavier.

“Who are you to lecture me? Just leave!” Xavier shouted, raising his hand to signal the guards.

Ruth received a hard slap across her face, making her stagger and fall to the ground. Everyone noticed the five bright red fingerprints left on her cheek.

“Huh?” Dustin gasped, his expression turning serious. Anger flashed in his eyes.

“Are you crazy, Xavier? Why did you hit my friend?!” Sheila shouted at Xavier while helping Ruth get back on her feet.

“I was trying to protect you, Sheila! I won’t let anyone who seems even slightly suspicious off the hook! If I have to be the bad guy today, so be it. I’ll eliminate every threat to you! Arrest that punk! If he fights back, kill him!” Xavier ordered, and all the elite guards rushed to attack Dustin.

Dustin simply snorted coldly and began moving his hands. “Phew! Phew! Phew!”

Golden needles shot from his fingers, expertly hitting the acupuncture points on the guards. In moments, they stood frozen in place, as if under a spell, unable to move.

“Do you want to die?!” Xavier yelled, his face contorting with rage. He pulled out his gun and aimed at Dustin’s chest.

But Dustin flicked his finger, sending two needles flying into the air. One landed on Xavier’s shoulder, the other on his neck. Suddenly, Xavier’s body stiffened, and he found himself unable to move.

“W–what kind of sorcery is this?” Xavier exclaimed, shock written all over his face. As one of the top martial artists, he couldn’t believe two tiny needles had immobilized him.

“You’re not as skilled or powerful as you think. And yet, you still dare to insult people and attack them?” Dustin said, approaching him with a cold stare.

“Rhys! You better let go of me if you know what’s good for you! If you don’t, I’ll make sure you never leave here alive!” Xavier shouted angrily.

“You dare threaten me? This is what you get for speaking out of turn!” Dustin said with a scoff as he raised his hand to slap Xavier.

Chapter 179

He slapped Xavier again. “This is for cursing me!”

Then, he gave him a hard third slap. “And this is for your nerve to touch a woman!”

The slapping continued without pause. Dustin showed no mercy, hitting Xavier over and over, delivering a slap with every word he spoke.

The tension in the room grew thicker by the second.

“And this is for your stupid face!” Dustin yelled as he swung with all his strength, sending Xavier crashing to the ground.

For a moment, the entire room fell silent!
