An Understated Dominance - Chapter 192
“Honestly, Mr. Rhys is a close friend of mine. We would do anything for each other. Just last night, we went out for drinks! If I put in a good word for you, he’ll definitely help me out!” Mr. Marcs said proudly.
Dustin chuckled at this claim. What a smooth talker! “What’s so funny?” Mr. Marcs shot a glare at him. “Just ignore him, Harvey. He’s a loser,” Julie said, rolling her eyes.
“Mr. Marcs, if you can help me get the company’s rights, I’ll make sure to reward you well!” Matt promised.
“Ha! No problem! I’ll get it done!” Mr. Marcs was thrilled.
“Thank you, Mr. Marcs!” Matt smiled back. With the high demand for Immortunol, he knew he would soon be very rich once he secured the company’s rights. Then, he could restore his family’s former glory!
“Mr. Matt, I have another business opportunity besides the company’s rights. Are you interested?” Mr. Marcs asked slyly.
“Oh? What is it?” Matt raised an eyebrow.
Mr. Marcs glanced around before speaking quietly. “Our company has high standards for Immortunol, so any products that don’t meet those standards are discarded. A few of us managers think that’s a waste, so we’ve kept the substandard products to sell. I can offer them to you at a great price.”
“Substandard products? How would they be useful?” Julie asked, confused.
“Julie, they may not be top quality, but they can easily be sold as if they are. No one would be able to tell the difference from real Immortunols once they’re packaged nicely!” Mr. Marcs said with a sly smile.
“Really?” Julie’s eyes brightened with interest.
“Have I ever lied to you? Here’s the deal: if you take them, I’ll sell them to you for just a fifth of the original price.”
“Price them right, and you can sell them for a lot!” Mr. Marcs suggested.
“That sounds amazing! Thank you, Harvey!” Julie exclaimed, her excitement clear.
“What do you think of this deal, Mr. Matt?” Mr. Marcs asked, looking directly at him.
“It’s a fantastic deal! I’ll take all the stock you have, Mr. Marcs!” Matt replied, smiling widely. He felt lucky to buy Immortunol for only a fifth of the original price. Matt never missed a good opportunity like this. He didn’t care much about the quality of the products; all that mattered to him was making money.
