“Alright, everyone. Let’s put our differences aside and talk business,” Matt said to ease the tension. “Dustin, let’s be professional. I’m really interested in the company’s rights. Here’s a check for a million dollars. I’d like to buy the rights.”

“A million dollars? Do you think I’m a beggar?” Dustin scoffed at the offer.

“Are you saying that’s not enough? Aren’t you being greedy?” Julie jumped in, clearly upset. “Just because the Harmons gave you a prescription formula, you think you can act superior? You only have power because of them!”

“Dustin, let’s get straight to the point. What do you want for the company rights?” Matt tried to keep his cool.

“No amount of money will change my mind. Someone like you is not fit to have the rights to Immortunol,” Dustin firmly rejected him.

“What? You’re turning down money?” Matt glared at him.

“Well, it depends on where the money comes from. I don’t trust your sources,” Dustin said, looking down on Matt’s offer.

“Dustin, you’re going too far!” Matt’s face darkened. “I’m trying to move past our issues, but don’t get in the way of my money!”

“Exactly! You should feel honored that Matt is interested in Immortunol’s rights! Don’t be ungrateful!” Julie added, feeling proud.

“Are you threatening me?” Dustin raised an eyebrow.

“That depends on how you interpret it. It could be advice or a threat,” Matt replied in a low voice.

“I don’t care if it’s advice or a threat. I stand by what I said. You are not getting the company,” Dustin declared firmly.

“Rights!” Dustin said clearly.

“Rhys! Are you really determined to go against me?” Matt asked, gritting his teeth. His stare was as cold and sharp as a snake’s.

“So what if I do? Why would I be afraid of you?” Dustin scoffed.

“Alright then, just wait!” Matt said angrily before leaving.

“Rhys! What good does it do to burn bridges? You’re just lucky to have the prescription formula. Don’t get too cocky. You’re only making things harder for yourself by going against Matt! You’re despicable! You just rely on others! Just wait, Rhys! You’ll regret this!” Julie yelled at Dustin as she prepared to leave. But just then, several police officers walked in.

“Are you Julie Amberson?” the lead officer asked.

“What if I am?” Julie shot them a glare.

“We received a report that you are involved with Morgan Finn and Harvey Marcs in selling drugs. We have solid evidence. You need to come with us.”

“Hey! What nonsense is this? When have I ever sold drugs?” Julie was panicking.

“Still denying it? Harvey Marcs just named you as the mastermind!”

“No way! That can’t be true! How could Harvey say that about me? You must be mistaken!” Julie shook her head in disbelief.

“Come with us, and we’ll see if there’s a mistake. Take her away!” the officer ordered, not wanting to waste more time.

“I’m innocent! This isn’t fair! Matt! Help me, Matt!” Julie cried out in panic, desperate for help, but no one was there to save her.

Matt quickly found a place to hide when he sensed trouble coming. He didn’t want to get involved. He was surprised when Mr. Marcs decided to blame Julie for the situation.
