An Understated Dominance - Chapter 220
“What’s going on?” Phineas asked, covering his cheek with his hand in shock. At the same time, in a room at the Estelle Hotel, Dahlia lay on the bed, barely conscious. Her head felt heavy, and her body was weak.
Matt stood beside her, a wicked grin on his face as he looked at her beautiful figure. “Dahlia, I have to say, you are stunning,” he said, shaking his head in disbelief.
“Your looks and body are perfect. I’ve been with many women, but none compare to you. It’s only right that I’m the man for you. How dare Dustin Rhys think he can claim you! But don’t worry, you’ll be mine by the end of the night.”
With a sneer, Matt started to unbutton his shirt but then remembered something. He pulled out his phone and pointed the camera at Dahlia.
“I almost forgot to record our special night. I promised Dustin I’d send him a video of us together. Men keep their promises,” he said, grinning with excitement.
“You disgusting, shameless jerk! If you touch me, I’ll make sure you go to jail!” Dahlia said, her voice weak but filled with anger.
“If you don’t mind the video being seen by others, go ahead and try. I don’t care if I end up in prison for a few years. At least I get to be with you. But there’s an easier way. After tonight, you’ll just have to marry me. That way, you can protect your reputation while still being with me. Sounds like a good deal, right?” Matt chuckled confidently.
“Not a chance, jerk! I’d rather die than marry a hypocrite like you!” Dahlia shouted, trying to get up from the bed. But each time she tried, she flopped back down, too weak to stand. Her face turned red from the effort, and the drug was still affecting her.
Matt’s expression turned serious. “Are you really still thinking about that loser right now?”
“I don’t understand. How is he better than me? Why do you keep thinking about him?”
“He’s better than you in every way. You don’t even deserve to compete with him!” Dahlia shouted angrily.
“He’s a nobody. If he hadn’t gotten help, do you think he’d be where he is today? He’s ruined my plans so many times. I swear I’ll get him back one day!” Matt growled.
“I’ll hurt you if you touch him!” Dahlia yelled, her face fierce.
“You’re still defending that jerk? I need to teach you a lesson!” Matt said, pulling off his belt and swinging it at her. “You better say I’m the best and that you want me!”
Soon, Dahlia’s skin was marked with blood from the whip. Yet, she stayed silent, biting her lip in defiance.
“Wow, you’re tough, huh? I’ll make you regret it tonight!” Matt yelled in frustration, ripping off his clothes and lunging at her.
Just then, the door burst open with a loud crash, and a powerful figure charged in, full of anger.
The cold wind rushed in, and the lights flickered and exploded.
