While Dustin was away, Natasha couldn’t stop worrying about him. She kept an eye out for any news, but despite how much she missed him, she didn’t call.

She didn’t want to distract him or take his focus off the important work he was doing for the nation. So, she buried herself in her work to keep her mind busy.

However, when Natasha finally saw Dustin again, all the emotions she had been holding back came rushing out. Months of longing turned into overwhelming affection, and tears streamed down her face.

Her assistant, Tanya, watched in surprise. She had no idea that Natasha, usually so poised and commanding as the chairwoman, was in a relationship.

What surprised Tanya even more was how different Natasha was around Dustin. The strong “queen” she knew now appeared soft and tender in his presence.

Tanya couldn’t help but watch Dustin closely. He was undeniably attractive and charismatic, someone who could easily shine in the entertainment industry.

But Natasha had always been surrounded by admirers—top executives, influential heirs, and powerful political figures. Despite their perfect looks and impressive backgrounds, none of them had ever captured her heart.

Tanya wondered who Dustin really was and what made him special enough to win over someone as remarkable as Natasha.

“Alright, enough tears. I’m back now. Look at you; your face is all blotchy,” Dustin said, gently cupping Natasha’s face with his hands and wiping away her tears with his thumbs.

Their eyes met, and the room filled with unspoken feelings.

Natasha stood on her tiptoes and kissed him passionately. Dustin paused for a moment, his cheeks turning pink, but he didn’t pull away.

Natasha’s eyes sparkled with satisfaction, still glistening with tears. She playfully teased, “Hmph! You’ve been gone forever, and now you finally decide to come back? I thought you forgot about me!”

“How could I?” Dustin replied with a grin. “I might forget everyone else, but never you. As soon as I got back to Oakvale, you were the first person I wanted to see.”

“Really?” Natasha raised an eyebrow, clearly doubtful.

“Absolutely! I promise!” Dustin said, raising his hand as if making an oath.

“Good! That’s more like it,” Natasha said, smiling happily. To her, as long as she held a special place in his heart, nothing else mattered.

“It’s been a while since I saw you. You look like you’ve lost some weight. Things must have been tough for you,” she said, gently cupping his face, concern filling her eyes.

“It was a bit rough, but it’s all behind me now. I’ll be staying in Oakvale for a while to be with you,” he assured her.

“You’d better keep your promise. No backing out!” Her eyes sparkled with joy.

“If you don’t believe me, let’s pinky swear,” Dustin said, wiggling his pinky finger.

“How childish!” Natasha rolled her eyes, but she couldn’t help but link her pinky with his.

Watching them look at each other with so much love, Tanya felt a warm smile spread across her face. Their bond was more heartwarming than anything she had experienced in her own love life.

“Tanya, don’t just stand there! Go get Mr. Rhys some tea,” Natasha said with a playful wink.

“Oh, right!” Tanya snapped out of her daydream and quickly left to fulfill the request.

“It’s almost dinnertime. Why don’t you come over to my place? My grandparents can’t wait to meet you,” Natasha suggested with a bright smile.

“Huh? So soon? I wasn’t expecting that,” Dustin said, feeling a wave of nervousness wash over him. He realized he was about to meet her family.

“It’s just a simple family dinner!” Natasha reassured him.

“Don’t worry about dinner,” she said to him reassuringly. “My grandfather might have a big reputation, but he’s really easygoing. You don’t need to stress.”

Natasha thought Dustin seemed a bit nervous because Simon had a strong presence, and few people in Oakvale held more power than him.

“Alright, but we should bring a gift. What do your grandparents like?” Dustin asked.

“No need for that,” Natasha replied, shaking her head. “We’re family, so we don’t have to be formal.”

“It’s my first time meeting them, and I don’t want to show up empty-handed. I really want to make a good impression,” he insisted.

“Good point,” she said thoughtfully. “Okay, let’s go find something nice for them.”

“What about your work?” Dustin asked, glancing at the papers on her desk.

“Work can wait. You’re much more important. Let’s go,” Natasha said with a warm smile. She linked her arm with his and held a bouquet in her other hand.

As they stepped out of Dash Corporation, all the employees watched them in stunned silence.
