Axel didn’t hesitate for a moment. He lunged forward and grabbed the fallen Dragon-Binding Net. With all his strength, he pinned Warrick down again.

“Get over here! We need to keep him restrained!” he shouted.

As the net strained under Warrick’s powerful movements, Axel let out a fierce roar. He pushed himself to the limit, feeling his veins throb and his heart race. He poured every ounce of energy into holding Warrick down.

For now, he had him pinned, but the elite enforcement unit on the other side was struggling.

Warrick thrashed wildly, sending more than a dozen men flying through the air. Some crashed into trees, while others slammed into walls. In a flash, the Dragon-Binding Net flipped over again.

Several elite enforcers rushed in to help, but they barely got close before their own teammates knocked them back, sending them flying as well.

Against Warrick’s incredible strength, they were completely outmatched. The regular guards didn’t stand a chance.

Axel was the only one on the field who could match Warrick’s raw power, but he couldn’t control the Dragon-Binding Net by himself.

The moment Warrick flipped the net again, he seized the chance and broke free. Without wasting a second, he turned and sprinted away.

This wasn’t the time for a long fight; Axel could feel his strength fading fast.

“After him! Don’t let him escape!” he ordered.

Determined not to lose, Axel tossed the Dragon-Binding Net aside and charged forward with his blade. If Warrick managed to escape now, Axel knew he wouldn’t deserve to be the captain of the enforcement team.

The chase was on.

Warrick sprinted ahead, with Axel hot on his heels and hundreds of elite enforcers following closely behind.

But just as he jumped over the outer wall, a storm of arrows flew through the night sky. They rained down in a relentless wave, so thick they almost blocked out the stars.

The castle had been locked down for a while now, with hundreds of soldiers stationed outside. Anyone who tried to climb the walls would be shot on sight without a second thought.

An ordinary grandmaster martial artist, especially after being poisoned with Tranqurin, would have been struck by countless arrows—like a porcupine covered in quills. But Warrick was different. He was on his way to becoming an ultimate grandmaster and was born with Divine Strength, making his body as tough as iron.

When the arrows fell, he didn’t use his internal energy for protection. Instead, he raised his arms to shield his face and charged straight through the storm.

“Stop him!” one of the soldiers shouted.

Realizing their arrows had failed, the soldiers rushed forward with swords and shields, quickly forming a human barrier to block his escape. They weren’t ordered to kill Warrick; they just needed to stall him until the enforcement team could finish their mission.

“Get out of my way!” Warrick roared, his voice booming like thunder.

The soldiers in front of him staggered, dazed by the power of his shout. Before they could recover, he crashed into them like a raging bull.

The sound of armor breaking echoed as the soldiers blocking his path were sent flying. They tumbled through the air like rag dolls before hitting the ground hard.

Warrick lay on the ground, dazed and confused. Those who had faced the charge weren’t as fortunate; their bones broke on impact, and they died instantly.

Despite his weakened state, Warrick was still a force to be reckoned with.

“Move! Get out of my way!” he shouted, pushing through the blockade. He tossed aside more than a hundred men, finally breaking free.

Just as he was about to escape, a group of black-armored elites, led by Axel, appeared at the end of the alley.

“You traitor! There’s no way out for you,” Axel said with a cold voice as he drew his sword. “Surrender now, or die!”

Behind him stood a hundred elite enforcement units. Half were armed with swords and shields, while the other half carried the Dragon-Binding Net.

“You annoying pests! I’ll take you all down with me!” Warrick shouted, filled with rage. With no escape, he summoned all his energy, ready to fight to the end. He would never surrender. If he was going down, he would make sure to take them with him.

“Quick! Protect Sir Prescott!”

Just as Warrick prepared for his last stand, soldiers in crimson armor rushed into the alley from both sides. They moved with a powerful presence.

It was Warrick’s Red Legion.

His face brightened with relief. Moments ago, he feared he was done for, but now his personal guard had arrived just in time.

Luck was finally on his side.

“Connor! Dave! Get rid of them!” he shouted.

With the tide turning in his favor, Warrick felt a surge of excitement. Just moments ago, he had felt like a rat cornered for his life; he had never felt so humiliated.

Now, with the advantage, it was time for revenge.
