An Understated Dominance - Chapter 387
“How dare you lay a finger on Madam Gloria? You’ve crossed the line!” The elderly servants gasped when they saw Gloria had been slapped. Furious, they rushed at Dustin, ready to defend her.
“A bunch of rude people!” Dustin’s face hardened as he pushed the elderly servants aside without saying a word. Some fainted, while others bled from their noses or mouths, and a few even lost teeth. In no time, those who had attacked Dahlia were sprawled on the floor, unable to move.
“Dustin Rhys, how dare you hit us? You’re asking for trouble!” Dakota stood up, albeit unsteadily, her face twisted in anger. As the daughter of a wealthy family, with her grandmother being one of the heads of the Nicholson Family, she couldn’t believe someone like Dustin had the guts to hurt them.
“Not only am I hitting you, but I’ll also make sure you regret it!” Dustin kicked Dakota hard in the stomach. She flew through the air and crashed into a wall, screaming in pain and bleeding from her mouth. “You animal! You’re in big trouble! You’ve hurt the Nicholsons, and we will make you pay for this!” Gloria, getting back to her feet, glared at Dustin. No one had dared to touch her in years, and this young man certainly had guts. “Make you pay? You don’t have the right to say that.” He slapped her face again, hitting her nose and mouth, causing her fake tooth to fall out. She instantly began convulsing and foaming at the mouth.
“Dustin, don’t hurt them!” Seeing this, Dahlia stepped in to stop him, worried he might accidentally kill Madam Gloria in his rage.

“How are you feeling?” Dustin calmed down and helped Dahlia up from the floor.
“I just have a few minor injuries. It’s nothing,” she replied, forcing a smile.
Dustin looked at Dahlia and frowned. “Your face is swollen. How is this ‘nothing’?” He felt sulky, and the more he thought about what happened, the angrier he got. They had been taken advantage of, and it made his blood boil.
In a fit of rage, he stomped on Dakota’s face. Her once decent-looking face was suddenly ruined and bruised. Dustin finally felt a sense of satisfaction after getting his revenge.
“I didn’t know you could be so harsh,” Dahlia said, shocked by the scene. But deep down, she felt a rush of happiness. It was nice to see someone standing up for her.
“If we don’t teach these rude people a lesson, they’ll never learn,” Dustin said, his expression serious.
“Beating up Dakota is one thing, but you also hurt Madam Gloria, an elderly woman. I’m worried about how we’ll get out of this,” Dahlia replied, her joy fading as new worries took over.
“I don’t care. If they want revenge, they can come after me,” Dustin said confidently.
“She’s a disrespectful old hag. If I didn’t slap her today, she would have thought she was better than everyone else.” With that, he took a check from Gloria’s pocket and left the villa with Dahlia.
Meanwhile, Gloria woke up on the floor, feeling the pain in her swollen face. Looking around at the chaos in the room, she screamed, “That animal! I’ll make them pay!”
Then, she picked up her phone and called someone. “Get Tarragon and Cougar here! We’re going to deal with this!”
Back at the Peaceful Medical Center, Dustin quickly found a tube of medication and started applying it to Dahlia’s bruised skin. Dakota and the elderly servants had really hurt her. She was covered in bruises all over her body. Dustin couldn’t bear to think what would have happened if he hadn’t stepped in.
“Dahlia, do you want to learn a few self-defense moves from me? It could help you if you ever find yourself in a tough situation,” Dustin said as he applied ointment to her skin, which felt smooth like silk.
“I’m not really interested in fighting,” she replied with a smile. “Besides, I have you to protect me!” To her, violence didn’t solve problems; it just created more. She believed that true power came from connections and influence, not just fighting skills. Many powerful people couldn’t fight well, but their reputation alone was enough to keep others in line.
“I prefer to rely on myself. My strength comes from my training,” he said, shaking his head. “Now, take off your top. I need to put the ointment on your back.”
“What?” Dahlia’s face turned awkward. “Maybe Caitlyn can help with that?”
“She’s out shopping. I’m not asking you to take everything off. Why do you make it sound like I’m trying to take advantage of you?” He rolled his eyes at her.
“Alright then,” she said, pursing her lips. Slowly, she pulled off her top, revealing her beautiful back with its pale skin.
Dustin took a deep breath and applied the ointment to her bruises. He then gave her a gentle massage.
“Ouch…” Dahlia winced as he accidentally pressed on a sore spot, taking a deep breath.
“Just hang in there. I’ll be finished soon.” As he massaged, he focused his energy to help heal her bruises. Before long, the pain faded, and a warm, soothing sensation spread through her body.
“Dear! I’m here!” they suddenly heard a cheerful voice call from the entrance.
In the next moment, Natasha and Caitlyn stood at the door, holding fresh groceries. They stared blankly at the scene in front of them.
“I saw nothing!” Caitlyn exclaimed, covering her face and turning away with a red face.
“What are you doing?” Natasha’s expression turned serious, and her eyes narrowed in accusation. She was looking at a man and a woman in the room. The woman was only in her undergarments, and the man had his hands on her. It looked suspicious no matter how you looked at it.
“Ahem, please ignore that. Dahlia has been hurt, and I was just putting some medicine on her,” Dustin quickly explained, though he felt a strange sense of guilt as he spoke.
“Putting on medicine?” Natasha’s jealousy flared as she looked Dahlia up and down. “Does she really need to take off her clothes for that? Do you really need to be so close? Look at you—you can’t even keep your hands to yourself!”
Dustin turned to see his hands on Dahlia and quickly pulled them away in shock. He had meant well, but Natasha’s questions made him feel guilty.
“Caitlyn, come look. I must seem like the bad guy now, right?” Natasha said, her face serious.
“Um, what? What’s happening?” Caitlyn asked, confused.
“Can’t you see? I’ve become a cuckquean!” Natasha crossed her arms and scoffed. “Dustin Rhys, maybe you should change your name to Don Juan!”
