“Get lost!” Cougar shouted as he easily took down Florence. Gloria walked over confidently, resting her walking stick on Florence’s face. “I’m giving you a chance to bring Dahlia and Dustin home. If you don’t, I’ll break your son’s legs!” she threatened.

“Please have mercy! I’ll call them right now!” Florence panicked and grabbed her phone. She called Dahlia and told her to bring Dustin back, but she didn’t explain why. She feared that if Dustin knew, he might not come, and that would put the whole family in more trouble.

“Madam Gloria, they’ll be here soon. Please wait,” Florence said, trying to keep a smile on her face.

“I’ll give you 15 minutes, no more. If they’re late, I’ll break one finger of your son for every minute that passes!” Gloria warned.

“What?” Florence gasped. If Dahlia and Dustin were more than ten minutes late, James would lose all his fingers!

James felt frustrated and helpless. He didn’t want to be part of this mess.

As they waited in silence, the door to the villa burst open again. A group of men stormed in as if ready for a fight.

“Sir Hummer?” Florence and James were shocked to see Edwin leading the group. His unexpected arrival in the middle of the night took them by surprise.

“Who are you?” Gloria asked, confronting the newcomers.

Visitors watched with cold expressions.

“I’m here for Florence and James,” Edwin said, pointing at them. “The rest of you need to leave, now!”

“Oh, it seems Florence has called for help!” Gloria said, looking at the men with disdain. “What can a few men do? Tarragon and Cougar will easily take you down.”

“That’s right! You’d better beg for mercy if you want to avoid trouble!” Dakota shouted at Edwin’s men, believing they were no match for the powerful Nicholson Family fighters.

“I’ll say it again. If you’re not with them, get lost!” Edwin warned.

But Gloria just said, “Someone needs to teach him a lesson! Get him!”

“Yes, Madam!” The elderly servants laughed darkly and charged at Edwin. He remained calm as he pulled out a silencer-equipped pistol and aimed it at the elderly servants.

“Wait! We can talk—” they stammered, suddenly scared. But before they could finish, muffled gunshots rang out. The elderly servants collapsed, each with a bullet in their foreheads. They were all dead.

Edwin coolly blew on the pistol and asked, “Who’s next?”

The others watched in horror. No one expected Edwin to kill so ruthlessly. His coldness sent chills down their spines.

“D-do you know who I am? How dare you kill my people? You’re insane!” Gloria shouted, gathering her anger. The elderly servants were her close allies, and she was furious to see them murdered.

“I don’t care about the names of the dead,” he replied coolly, shooting Gloria next.
