An Understated Dominance - Chapter 403
Dustin took the cup with both hands and said, “Mr. Robinson, I’m going to need your help for the next few days.”
Edmund Robinson smiled and replied, “It’s no trouble at all. I owe so much to Ms. Harmon. She helped me before, and my family is very grateful. It’s an honor to repay her.”
“Really? I didn’t know Natasha was so popular,” Dustin chuckled.
“Of course she is!” Edmund said with pride. “I watched her grow up. No one in Millsburg can compare to her character!”
“I can see that,” Dustin nodded, smiling back.

“Mr. Rhys, look at me! I got so caught up in our chat that I almost forgot my job. Have you eaten? Just wait a moment while I make something for you,” Edmund said, rushing into the kitchen.
He looked just like a dedicated househusband.
Dustin smiled softly. As he sipped his tea, he took a moment to look around. The villa had two floors, furnished and equipped with appliances. It wasn’t the most luxurious place, but it was clean and felt homey.
Suddenly, a high-pitched scream broke the calm. “Hey, who are you? Who let you in here?!”
Dustin turned to see a young girl in a short skirt, watching him closely. She looked about eighteen, with delicate features, light makeup, and bright blue hair. She was chewing gum, giving off a cool vibe.
“I’m talking to you. Are you mute?!” the girl shouted.
“Abigail, don’t be rude!” Edmund rushed out, smiling apologetically. “Mr. Rhys, this is my daughter, Abigail Robinson. I spoil her too much, so please don’t hold it against her.”
“It’s nothing. This—”
“It’s a normal reaction to see a stranger in your house,” Dustin said with a slight smile.
“Hmph, I don’t know where you found this random person!” Abigail replied, her face cold and her eyes showing disgust.
“Silly girl, what are you talking about? This is Mr. Rhys, a respected guest of the Harmons!” Edmund said sharply.
“Fine, fine. I don’t have the energy to deal with your nonsense. I’m going out with my friends later, so give me some money!” Abigail stretched out her hand expectantly.
“You’re going out again?” Edmund frowned. “Abigail, your exams are coming up soon. How can you go out every night?”
“It doesn’t matter. I probably won’t get into a good college anyway. Why shouldn’t I have some fun?” Abigail shrugged, indifferent.
“It’s not just about getting into a good college; it’s about your attitude. Can’t you let me worry less?” Edmund said, clearly frustrated.
“You’re so annoying! Every time I ask for money, you give me this speech. Just give it to me or don’t!” Abigail snapped before slamming the door and storming off.
“Teenagers,” Edmund muttered angrily, feeling helpless. “Mr. Rhys, I’m sorry you had to see that.”
“It’s alright. She’s a teenager, so it makes sense that she’s a bit rebellious,” Dustin said kindly.
“Oh no, my pan!” Edmund suddenly remembered something important and rushed into the kitchen.
After half an hour, a delicious feast was ready. Dustin took a bite and was impressed by the flavor.
“Mr. Rhys, would it be alright if I set some food aside? Abigail will probably be hungry when she gets home tonight,” Edmund asked cautiously.
“Of course, that’s no problem,” Dustin replied.
Dustin smiled and said, “Mr. Robinson, you don’t need to hold back. You’re the host, so feel free to do whatever you like. Don’t worry about me.”
“Thank you, Mr. Rhys!” Edmund replied, feeling grateful. He carefully set aside a small portion of each dish, making sure not to take too much. Then, he wrapped them in cling wrap.
Suddenly, a neighbor rushed into the room, looking frantic. “Edmund, it’s bad! Something has happened to your daughter!”
