An Understated Dominance - Chapter 408
“Lord Horst’s brother?” Everyone was shocked, especially Mike, whose face turned pale.
He never expected the man to be related to Lord Horst. Although his father and Lord Horst were just acquaintances, this new information made it clear that Mike was in serious trouble.
“Weren’t you just showing off? Why not do it again?” The man in the suit kicked Mike in the chest, sending him crashing to the floor. “How dare you interfere with me! You must have a death wish!”
He struck Mike two more times. Mike clenched his teeth in pain but couldn’t find the words to respond.
“You idiots! What makes you think you can order me around? Get on your knees! Anyone who disobeys will have their legs broken!” the man shouted, waving his weapon.

“On your knees!” His followers shouted, pressing their blades against the students’ necks. The students, terrified and inexperienced with such violence, quickly dropped to their knees.
“Hey! Why aren’t you kneeling?” One of the followers noticed Dustin.
“You’ve got this all wrong. I don’t know them. I’m just here to watch,” Dustin said with a shrug.
The students shot him angry glances. He was certainly acting like a coward.
The man in the suit glanced at Dustin but chose to focus on Mike instead. “Hey, punk! Weren’t you going to break my legs? Here’s your chance.” He tossed his baton down beside Mike.
“That was a misunderstanding,” Mike said, forcing a smile. “I was foolish. How about this? I’ll host a small dinner party tomorrow at the Empress Hotel to apologize.”
“Forget that!” The man slapped Mike hard across the face. “Do you really think that’s enough to satisfy me?”
“Who do you think I am?”
“Of course, that’s not all. I’ll visit you with a big gift!” Mike forced a smile, but he looked sad.
Everyone was shocked. The man they admired was begging at someone else’s feet.
The man scoffed. “I would have killed you already if you weren’t my brother’s friend!” He kicked Mike aside and turned to Abigail. “Now, it’s your turn. If you sleep with me tonight, I’ll forget about this mess.”
“In your dreams!” Abigail shot back.
“I gave you a chance!” The man’s face darkened as he raised his hand to slap Abigail.
“Don’t hit her!” Edmund quickly stepped in front of his daughter. “I’ll pay for your watch. Just give me two days. I promise I’ll get you 800 thousand dollars!”
“I don’t have time, old man! I need someone tonight, and your daughter will be mine!” The man signaled his two henchmen to tie Abigail up.
Edmund tried to stop them but was pushed to the ground by another man.
“Let me go!” Abigail panicked, struggling and looking to Mike for help, hoping he would save her like he always did.
“Let’s talk about this. She’s my friend. Can’t you let her go?” Mike pleaded, unable to hold back any longer.
“Get lost!” The man slapped Mike again, furious. “Who do you think you are? Why would I do you a favor? Get out of here, or I’ll kill you!”
Mike fell silent, biting back his words. The other male students kept their heads down, scared of upsetting the younger brother of Lord Horst.

In the Flame Dragon Gang’s hideout, chaos erupted.
“Take her away!” A man shouted, grabbing the tied-up Abigail and preparing to leave.
“Stop!” Edmund jumped up and grabbed a knife, trembling as he held it against the man’s neck. “Nobody move! My blade might slip!”
“Do you even know what you’re doing, old man?” the suited man sneered, his expression darkening.
“I don’t care! Just let my daughter go!” Edmund shouted, pressing the blade harder against the man’s skin.
“Let her go!” The suited man looked flustered, realizing he needed to calm the situation.
“Abigail, run!” Edmund urged as soon as she was released.
“But what about you?” Abigail asked, frowning with concern.
“I’ll be fine. Just go! I’ll catch up,” Edmund said, forcing a smile. He didn’t see someone sneaking up behind him until it was too late. That person knocked him to the ground with a swift blow.
“Dad!” Abigail gasped, her face pale, and rushed toward him but was yanked back.
“How dare you threaten me!” the suited man snarled, touching the cut on his neck, furious. “Your family should be honored that I want your daughter. I’ll kill you if you don’t cooperate!” He grabbed a knife from one of his lackeys and swung it at Edmund’s arm.
The blade sliced through the air with a soft hum, but suddenly, someone reached out and caught it mid-swing. The suited man struggled, but the knife didn’t budge.
“That’s enough,” Dustin commanded.
“How dare you stop me!” the suited man exclaimed, shocked. “I don’t care about anyone else, but you can’t touch Mr. Robinson,” Dustin warned firmly.
“And what if I do?” the suited man challenged, narrowing his eyes.
“Then you’ll regret it,” Dustin replied confidently.
“Beat me up?” The other man laughed loudly, looking at Dustin with a sneer. “Hey, punk! Do you even know what you’re saying? Look around. These are all my men. If you touch even a strand of my hair, you’ll be cut into pieces.”
“Even a strand of your hair, huh?” Without warning, Dustin reached out and pulled a single hair from the man’s head. “Here you go.”
“What?” The man’s eye twitched in anger. Humiliated, he shouted, “Kill him!”
Suddenly, there was a loud bang, and the man was sent flying backward, crashing into the wall. Everyone in the room was left in shock.
