It was a lucky break for Lord Horst that he hadn’t pushed things too far, or the results could have been disastrous.

“So, do you agree to join my gang?” Lord Horst asked, lighting another cigarette after he had calmed down.

“I’m okay with joining, but I want to be the gang leader,” Dustin said, surprising everyone. Lord Horst’s cigarette fell from his mouth in shock.

“Can’t you say something normal?” he thought.

“Are you crazy? Even my brother is just the assistant leader. What makes you think you can lead?” a man in a suit argued, clearly unhappy.

Lord Horst took a deep breath and put another cigarette in his mouth. “Do you have any idea how big the Flame Dragon Gang is? People all over Millsburg want to join. What right do you have to say something like that, especially with no power or strong family connections?”

“This,” Dustin replied.

With a quick flick of his finger, a beam of light shot toward the wall. An earth-shaking boom echoed as a huge hole appeared in the steel and concrete wall. The force behind it was like that of a cannon.

“What?” The Horst brothers stared in disbelief at the hole. Lord Horst’s cigarette dropped again.

Was Dustin even human? How could he possess such power?

“Divinity Aura? You’re a Divine-level martial artist?” Lord Horst exclaimed, completely stunned and sweating. If Dustin really was a Divine-level martial artist, bullets wouldn’t harm him at all. Everything he had said earlier was meaningless.

But Dustin was only in his twenties. It was incredibly rare to find someone so strong at that age, even in Millsburg. Lord Horst was relieved he hadn’t gone through with his earlier threats.

“Threaten me, or you’ll be dead by now,” Dustin said confidently.

“With your strength, leading the gang should be easy. But people might not want to follow you,” Lord Horst said, reaching for another cigarette but stopping himself.

“It’s fine. I’ll take care of anyone who stands in my way,” Dustin replied casually. “Since I’m new here, I need someone to help me. Your gang is lucky I ran into you.”

Lord Horst forced a smile, thinking to himself, “Curse my rotten luck!”

“By the way, what’s your name?” Dustin suddenly remembered.

“Nelson Horst,” Lord Horst replied honestly.

“Lesson Horse?” Dustin raised an eyebrow. “Whatever. Just tell your gang leader to step down when you get back. If he doesn’t like it, he can challenge me anytime.”

“Sir Rhys, our gang leader, isn’t just anyone. He has a powerful family behind him. It will be tough to make him step down,” Nelson said, shaking his head.

“Don’t worry. Just do what I say. Let’s meet in two days. I’ll know what to say then,” Dustin instructed.

“Alright. As you wish,” Nelson replied, knowing how strong Dustin was. He didn’t want to cross him.

“What should we do now, Nels?”

Nelson had a strange look on his face as he watched Dustin walk away.

“How dare you ask me that!” He was furious. Nelson slapped his brother. “This is all your fault. If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t be in trouble with that guy! Now the whole gang is going to suffer!”

His brother held his burning cheek, feeling devastated.

How was he supposed to know that having fun with a female student would lead to trouble with someone like Dustin? His luck was terrible.
