Now that Harry was dead, Nelson, the assistant leader, took over as the head of the Flame Dragon Gang. With thousands of followers and many elite members, the gang was a powerful force in Millsburg. This made it easier for Dustin to operate in the city with the gang’s support.

As they walked out of the High Point Building, Patrick warned Dustin, “Even though you’re now the leader of the Flame Dragon Gang, you might still run into some trouble.”

“Trouble? What do you mean?” Dustin asked, curious.

“Harry didn’t gain power on his own. He had support from someone important. By killing Harry, you’re likely to make that person angry,” Patrick explained.

“Who is this person?” Dustin inquired.

“Terry Doyle, the eldest son of the Doyle family,” Patrick replied.

“Terry Doyle? I haven’t heard of him,” Dustin said, shaking his head.

Patrick looked serious. “You must not be from around here. Everyone knows Terry. But let me warn you, he’s not someone to take lightly. The Doyle family is an old martial arts family and is one of the Fabulous Five. They have a lot of influence in the martial arts world of Balerno. Terry, in his early thirties, is already one of the Heavenly Immortals! Very few from the younger generation in Millsburg can compete with him. If you cross paths with Terry, be very careful. He seeks revenge for even the smallest offenses, and those who upset him usually end badly.”

Dustin smiled at Patrick’s warning. “Thanks for the heads-up, Patrick. I’ll be careful.”

“Of course. Nothing is guaranteed. If you can find a supporter in Millsburg, like the Hills family, I believe Terry would think twice before acting rashly,” Patrick said, shifting his tone to be more encouraging.

The Hill family still has a lot of power in Millsburg. Patrick turned to Dustin and said, “With your talent and strength, you could be our consultant. I just don’t know if you’re interested.”

Dustin smiled politely and replied, “Thank you for the offer, Patrick, but I haven’t thought about it. Let’s talk later if the opportunity comes up.” He valued his freedom and didn’t want to feel tied down.

Suddenly, a stylish woman beside them spoke up, sounding upset. “Do you even realize what you’re saying? Becoming a consultant for the Hill family is a dream for many. Mr. Hill sees your potential and wants you on his team. I can’t believe you’re turning him down!”

Patrick quickly turned to her, looking angry. “Be quiet! That’s disrespectful!” Then he turned back to Dustin. “I’m sorry, Dustin. I should have kept her in check. Please forgive me.”

“It’s fine,” Dustin said, waving his hand, wanting to move past the moment.

Patrick smiled again and said, “Since you have other goals, I won’t push you. But feel free to reach out if you change your mind.”

“Sure,” Dustin nodded.

Just as they were finishing their conversation, Patrick’s phone rang. His expression changed immediately when he answered.

“What? Grandfather’s old injury has flared up, and he fainted? How did that happen? Alright! I’ll come home right away. Please, get the doctor!”

After hanging up, Patrick looked troubled. “Dustin, something urgent has come up at home. I need to go.”

“Is someone in your family unwell?” Dustin asked, concerned.

“Yes, my grandfather overexerted himself while practicing his skills, and now his old injury is acting up. The situation…

“It’s not good,” Patrick said, looking serious.

“If it’s an internal injury, I have a pill that works really well,” Dustin replied. He took out a black pill and added, “It’s called Gemiphen. It helps improve blood circulation, relieve blockages, and strengthen the body. It might help your grandfather’s ongoing injury.”

“Thank you, Dustin!” Patrick said gratefully as he took the pill. Even though he didn’t really believe it could heal his grandfather, he appreciated Dustin’s gesture and didn’t want to turn it down.

After Patrick rushed off, Dustin called a taxi from the side of the road and headed back to his villa in the urban village.
