An Understated Dominance - Chapter 424
Just as Dustin walked into the house, Abigail rushed towards him, her eyes sparkling with excitement. “Uncle! I did it! I did it!”
“What do you mean?” Dustin asked, taken aback. “Are you pregnant?”
He was shocked. How could she be pregnant at her age? This girl was too wild. “Gosh! No! I’m still a virgin!” Abigail rolled her eyes, clearly annoyed.
“Then why are you so excited?” Dustin was confused. She had surprised him.
“Remember the cultivation technique you taught me last night? Well, I’m thrilled to say that I’ve successfully cultivated my internal energy!” Abigail beamed with joy.

“What? So soon?” Dustin frowned, surprised.
Typically, it took an average martial artist at least a year or more to cultivate internal energy. Even the most talented individuals needed several months to grasp the basics. But Abigail claimed she had done it overnight. Could she really have mastered it that fast?
Dustin felt skeptical but decided to check her pulse. To his surprise, he could feel a faint flow of energy within her core. It was subtle, but she indeed had internal energy.
In other words, Abigail had really succeeded!
In just one night, she accomplished what would take ordinary martial artists a year or more of hard work. Her talent was truly exceptional!
While others struggled for ten years, Abigail could reach the same level of mastery in just a day of relaxed practice. How could anyone compete with that?
Hard work seemed insignificant compared to her natural talent.
“So, what do you think? I did it, didn’t I? I told you I’m not lying!” Abigail proudly proclaimed.
“I have to admit, you have remarkable talent. It takes ordinary people a long time to achieve what you just did,” Dustin replied, amazed.
“Wow, you reached this level in just one day! You’re truly a martial arts prodigy,” Dustin said with a big smile.
“Hahaha… I knew it!” Abigail laughed, feeling victorious. “Even if I’m not the smartest person around, I’ve never lost a fight.”
“Are you calling yourself stupid?” Dustin asked with a raised eyebrow.
“Pffft! No way! You’re the one who’s silly!” Abigail shot back. She narrowed her eyes and added, “I might struggle with studying, but when it comes to fighting, I’m top-notch. There’s a saying, right? Everyone is born to succeed!”
“Honestly, with your talent in martial arts, you’ll be in high demand. Major sects will fight to recruit you. So, you need to start thinking about where you want to go from here,” Dustin said seriously.
“Well, I’m not sure yet,” Abigail admitted, scratching her head. “Let’s not stress about that now. Since I’m just starting out, you can teach me first. Consider it a favor to you.”
“A favor to me? That sounds strange,” Dustin replied, raising an eyebrow.
“Think about it! I’m a martial arts prodigy. When I become famous, you’ll benefit too!” Abigail said confidently, lifting her chin.
“I guess I’ll have to wait for that,” Dustin said with a chuckle.
“Hey! Are you underestimating me? You just said I’m a prodigy! A day of practice for me is like a year for others. As long as I keep training, I’ll soon rule the martial arts world!” Abigail said proudly.
“It’s not that easy. Even with talent, you still need to improve your skills,” Dustin laughed.
“Hmph! That’s just how regular folks see it. You don’t understand how geniuses think,” Abigail said with a smirk. “By the way, how long did it take you to achieve your level?”
“How long did it take you to reach the basic level of internal energy? One year or two?”
Dustin didn’t answer right away. Instead, he raised three fingers.
“No way! It actually took you three years?” Abigail exclaimed, surprised. “Wow, you’re really behind. I finished it in just one night, and you took that long?”
“Don’t judge me based on your own experience,” Dustin replied sharply. “It only took me three minutes to reach the basic level of internal energy.”
