An Understated Dominance - Chapter 430
Patrick frowned. “Dustin is my friend. I can vouch for him. If there’s a problem, I’ll take full responsibility!”
“Hey! What are you all waiting for? Come inside quickly!” Spring called from the room, noticing the group lingering at the doorway.
“Hmph! Kid, you better not play any tricks. I’ll be watching you closely!” Torben warned as he stepped aside. “Dustin, don’t mind him. Please come in.” Patrick said, eager to get started. He quickly led Dustin to the bedside.
“Hey there. I heard you have the Gemiphen?” Nicholas said first, looking excited like someone who hadn’t eaten in days and had just spotted a feast.
“I do have it, but not many. They were all passed down from my ancestors,” Dustin replied. He recognized the emblem on their clothes as belonging to Stoneray Valley and wanted to avoid any trouble, so he kept his answer vague.

“An ancestral elixir? How many pills do you have left? I’ll pay a high price for them!” Nicholas asked urgently.
“I had two pills before, but one was destroyed. Now I only have one left,” Dustin said.
“What? Only one pill?” Nicholas frowned, disappointed. He had hoped to buy a few pills to study when he returned to Stoneray Valley. What a shame.
“Mr. Turner, let’s skip the small talk. Since this guy has one Gemiphen, let’s focus on saving the patient,” Spring urged.
“Yes, yes. Please go ahead,” Nicholas replied, trying to remain polite.
“Hey! Don’t blame me if it doesn’t work. You better be able to cure my grandfather’s internal injuries. Otherwise, you will be…”
“Doomed!” Torben suddenly exclaimed, sounding cold.
Just as Dustin was about to start the treatment, he paused and replied indifferently, “I’m not someone who handles intimidation well. If you’re going to say things like that, I won’t treat him. You’ll need to find someone else.” With that, he turned to leave.
“No, no, no… Young man, please don’t listen to him,” Spring said in a panic as he quickly grabbed Dustin. He then shouted at Torben, “You brat! If you don’t have anything nice to say, just be quiet!”
Torben felt annoyed but kept quiet after that.
“Dustin, this guy just talks a lot. Don’t let him get to you,” Patrick reassured him quickly.
“Okay, if you want my Gemiphen, it will cost you, and I’ll need extra,” Dustin said calmly.
“No problem. How much?” Spring asked eagerly.
Instead of answering right away, Dustin held up one finger.
“Is it one million dollars?” Spring guessed.
Torben frowned and said, “Kid! Don’t you think you’re being too greedy? How can you ask for one million dollars for something so useless?”
“Who said I want one million? I want 100 million!” Dustin replied, surprising everyone with his bold claim.
“What?”
“100 million dollars?”
Torben was shocked. “Are you out of your mind? Why don’t you just rob someone? What makes this worthless thing worth so much?”
“Actually, I’ve changed my mind. Now it’s 200 million dollars,” Dustin said casually, holding up two fingers as if it were no big deal.
“200 million? Are you messing with us?” Torben was so angry he looked ready to explode.
“300 million,” Dustin said, uninterested in arguing. The more Torben shouted, the higher Dustin raised the price. That was just how it went.
“That’s rude!”
Before Torben could respond, Spring’s face went pale. In a sudden burst of anger, he slapped Torben hard across the face and shouted, “You beast! Just shut your mouth!”
