“Hey! What are you talking about?” Mike jumped up and shouted, feeling a surge of anger after seeing the sleazy man bothering Ruby. “My friend already told you she can’t sing that song! Why do you keep pushing her?”

“Exactly! You can’t force someone to sing a song they don’t know. That’s not fair!” Ninal added, and the others who had been quiet nodded in agreement, looking just as upset.

The chubby man smirked. “She should follow the rules since she stepped onto the stage. I paid for this, so she has to sing!”

“So what if you paid? That little amount is barely enough for a cup of coffee!” Mike scoffed. “You want to talk about rules? Let me entertain you. Hey, I’ll give you 100 roses. Sing whatever you want for the first song!” He took out ten thousand dollars and handed it over right away.

“Wow! He really doesn’t hesitate to spend money,” someone in the crowd said.

“He’s probably just some rich kid. Let’s see what happens next,” another person replied.

“Foolish kids!” Chubster laughed and swiped his card again. “I want another hundred bottles!”

“100 bottles of red wine?” The crowd gasped in disbelief. They couldn’t believe someone would spend a million dollars on wine without a second thought.

“He’s a real tycoon!” someone exclaimed.

“That much money could buy a house, but he’s just throwing it away! How rich is he?” others murmured, amazed.

Everyone was captivated by the unfolding drama.

“I dare you to top that, brat,” Chubster laughed.

Mike clenched his teeth, feeling angry. A million dollars was a huge amount of money. His monthly allowance was only 100 thousand dollars, and in a year, he had about a million. The thought of spending all that money on a singer made him uneasy. Plus, he didn’t even have that much on his card.

“Get him, Mike!” someone shouted.

“You’re going too far!” Mike yelled.

“So what? You can always prove me wrong by paying up,” Chubster taunted, leaving Mike speechless.

“Shut up if you don’t have that money.” The chubby man glared at Mike before turning to Ruby. “I’ve spent a million dollars on you, sweetie, so you better start singing. You’re also going to have a few drinks with me afterwards.”

“I’ll sing for you, but I have to pass on the drinks,” Ruby replied, shaking her head.

She was surprised by how much money the chubby man had, but she understood his intentions, and there was no way she would be drinking with him.

“I spent over a million dollars on you, so what’s the big deal about sharing a few drinks?” he complained, clearly annoyed.

“I just don’t handle drinks well,” Ruby said, looking uneasy.

“Shut up! You aren’t leaving here unless you drink with me!” the chubby man shouted angrily.

“Is a million a lot?” Dustin suddenly asked coldly. “I’ll give you ten million dollars to leave right now and stop making everyone uncomfortable.”
