“Okay. Deal with him quickly. I don’t want any more accidents!” Edwin said, his tone firm but his expression softened. “Don’t worry, Sir Hummer. My two boys will handle it smoothly!” Fletcher replied with a faint smile as he pulled out his phone to send a text.

Meanwhile, Natasha stayed calm despite the noise happening offstage. “Welcome to our company’s grand opening ceremony,” she announced into the microphone, her eyes scanning the room. With her strong presence and sharp gaze, she looked every bit the talented businesswoman she was.

“Everyone knows the Harmon family has gained a new partner. Starting today, part of the Harmon family business will be handed over to this partner.” She paused, looking around the room. “I believe you’re all eager to find out who it is. Don’t worry; I’ll reveal that soon! Now, let’s give a warm welcome to Ms. Nicholson as she comes on stage!”

As Natasha finished speaking, she began to clap, and soon the crowd joined in with loud applause. “Dahlia! It’s your turn!” Florence nudged the woman beside her.

Dahlia snapped back to reality. She was surprised to see Natasha but knew she had to go on stage. Taking a deep breath, she walked up, trying to act as if everything was normal.

“Wow! Another stunning lady? We are so lucky today!” someone in the crowd exclaimed.

“Both are beautiful in their own way. I’d give up ten years of my life just to be with them!” another voice chimed in.

“Seriously! What man deserves such incredible women?” someone else added.

As Dahlia approached the stage, the crowd buzzed with excitement. Natasha was striking, but Dahlia’s presence stirred even more enthusiasm among the audience. It was clear that the event was just getting started.

It was a special moment to be in the company of two lovely ladies.

“Good to see you again, Ms. Nicholson,” Natasha said, extending her hand with a warm smile.

“I didn’t expect you to be the president of the Harmon Group,” Dahlia replied, shaking her hand politely, surprise evident on her face.

She should have figured it out sooner. A beautiful and elegant woman with the last name Harmon showing up just two days before the charity ball was a big clue. If she had put two and two together, she would have realized Natasha was Natasha Harmon.

But she didn’t make that connection because her thoughts were clouded with emotions.

Honestly, she never imagined that Dustin would be involved with such a prestigious family.

“It’s not too late for us to get to know each other,” Natasha said brightly. “Oh, and we still have that bet, right?”

“That’s right,” Dahlia replied calmly.

“Do you still think you can win?” Natasha asked, tilting her chin up defiantly.

“I believe I can, as long as you don’t interfere,” Dahlia said, her eyes filled with determination. She always saw Natasha as a rival, and now they could finally face off.

“Don’t worry, I won’t help him. Besides, he doesn’t need it. Honestly, he’s much more capable than both of us!” Natasha smiled.

“Love is blind. That’s definitely true,” Dahlia said with a faint smile.

“It seems you don’t believe me. If that’s the case, time will show the truth,” Natasha said, her smile still bright. She didn’t want to go into more detail, believing that one day Dahlia would understand.

“But by then, it might be too late.”
