As everyone waited in silence for the transaction results, the restaurant owner approached and said, “I’m sorry, sir, but the PIN was wrong, and the transaction didn’t go through.”

“Wrong?” Dustin was taken aback. Wasn’t his PIN 666666? Had he mixed it up?

Chubster couldn’t hold back his laughter. “What about the ten million you claimed to have? Why pretend if you’re broke? Did you think you could fool everyone just by acting? What a joke!”

“Tsk. Turns out he’s just a braggart. I almost believed him,” someone else said.

Everyone looked at Dustin with mockery, convinced that the wrong PIN was just an excuse to avoid paying. They weren’t going to let him bask in attention without footing the bill.

“That’s such a dumb trick. Only you would try something like that!” Mike laughed loudly.

“What kind of friend do you have, Abigail? He’s so shameless! Isn’t it bad enough that he’s poor? How could he pretend to be rich?” Nina sneered.

“Exactly! Who would have thought someone who looks as good as him would do something like this?” someone in the group chimed in.

Dustin’s friends started joining in with their own scornful comments, feeling embarrassed.

“I told you not to act like a hero,” Abigail said, her face slightly flushed.

Instead of responding to the insults, Dustin turned back to the owner and said, “If the PIN isn’t 666666, then try 888888.”

“Are you sure?” The owner raised an eyebrow, clearly skeptical. He thought Dustin was messing with him.

“Yes,” Dustin replied firmly.

“Fine. I hope it works this time.”

The owner smirked before walking back to the counter.

“Pilt! Keep acting!” Chubster mocked. “Let’s see how long you can keep this up.”

“I guess some people just don’t know when to give up,” Mike added with a grin.

“Isn’t it embarrassing for him to keep pretending after being found out?” Nina said with a look of disgust.

Dustin had clearly become the target of their jokes, and the insults kept coming.

Suddenly, the owner rushed over, looking worried. “I—I made a mistake, sir!” he stammered.
