An Understated Dominance - Chapter 444
“Are you out of your mind? How could you attack someone from the Doyle family?” Nina and the others turned pale when they saw Duncan lying on the floor, unconscious. They never expected Dustin to be so reckless.
“So what?” Dustin replied casually. “Hmph! What a foolish thing to say!” Nina looked at him with disdain. “The Doyle family is one of the Fabulous Five. You could end up dead in the Ziby River by tomorrow!”
“Really? I don’t think so.” Dustin shrugged. “Just because you’re rich doesn’t mean you can do whatever you want. The Doyle family is stronger than you realize.” Mike chimed in with a smirk. “Terry Doyle is a protective man. If he finds out his family was attacked, he’ll take it seriously! If I were you, I’d start apologizing to them. You might still have a chance to survive.”
Dustin simply smiled back at Mike. “Well, you aren’t me.”
“I’ve said what I needed to say. If you want to be foolish, good luck. Let’s go!” Mike sneered and stood up to leave. He didn’t want to get involved in the Doyle family’s problems.

“Talking to you is pointless. You’ll see just how powerful they are when the time comes,” Nina said, glaring at Dustin before following Mike.
“Dude, take our advice: leave Millsburg now. Run as far as you can before it’s too late,” the group warned hurriedly as they left, anxious about getting caught up in the mess.
“What should we do now? You’ve really gotten yourself into trouble. I shouldn’t have encouraged you earlier,” Abigail said, her voice filled with worry. She had heard of the Doyle family before; they were not people ordinary citizens like her could mess with.
“Calm down. It’s no big deal,” Dustin said with a smile.
“Yeah, right. Stop bragging,” Abigail huffed.
Dustin chuckled but didn’t say more.
“Thanks for that just now,” Ruby said as she walked over, nodding at him.
“You’re welcome. That annoying guy just got on my nerves,” Dustin replied, waving her off. Then, he suddenly remembered something. “Oh, right. Don’t forget to pay me back the ten million dollars.”
“What?” Ruby was taken aback. She didn’t expect him to mention money at that moment.
“Seriously, how can you ask someone to return money you’ve already given away? That’s just not cool,” Abigail said, giving him a strange look.
“I only said that to back you guys up. You didn’t think I’d just keep giving away my money, did you?” Dustin shrugged.
“You’re an interesting guy. Alright, I’ll pay you back. Let me get your contact info first,” Ruby said with a smile as they exchanged numbers. “You can call me if the Doyle family tries anything.”
“Huh?” Dustin was surprised. Ruby’s words hinted at something more serious.
“It’s late, Abigail. I’m heading home now. Talk to you soon,” Ruby waved goodbye and walked away.
“Hey, kid. Who’s that friend of yours? She seems special,” Dustin casually asked Abigail.
“I’ve heard she comes from a wealthy family, but I don’t know what they do,” Abigail replied, shaking her head. “Anyway, let’s go. Your dad will worry.” With that, they quickly left.
