An Understated Dominance - Chapter 454
“What’s happening? Who did this?”
Natasha’s expression turned serious as she looked at the people on the floor. Her heart sank when she realized that hundreds had been poisoned all at once. This was much worse than if only a few had been affected. The situation was dire.
The person behind this attack clearly wanted to eliminate the Harmon family for good!
“Dad! Mom! Uncles!”
Ruth saw her family collapsing one by one and panicked. She ran toward them, but before she could reach them, she coughed up blood and fell to the ground.

“Ruth!” Natasha gasped, her face going pale. She tried to rush to her, but Dustin held her back. “Don’t go over there. It’s the air that’s poisoned, not the wine!”
“What should we do? We have to save them!” Natasha cried, struggling to stay calm as she watched her family suffer.
“Take this pill first,” Dustin said, taking out a small white pill and placing it in Natasha’s mouth. It was a Curax, an antidote for poisons.
“To help them, we need to find out where the poison is coming from. Just give me a moment,” he added.
After making sure Natasha was safe, Dustin began to scan the room. The poison must be colorless and odorless or blended into the environment so well that he hadn’t noticed it.
“The Dark Lord! It has to be him!” Trent shouted from the floor, his agitation causing him to cough up more blood.
“I understand now. The Dark Lord is trying to wipe out our whole family!” Jacob said through clenched teeth. Though he was a strong martial artist and not as affected as others, he knew that the poison would eventually take him too.
“Not him again! It’s been years! Why won’t he leave us alone?” Hector coughed violently, his face growing pale.
Hector’s face was pale as his health worsened. After another round of poisoning, it seemed impossible for him to recover fully. In the hall, only Dustin and Natasha remained standing; everyone else was sprawled on the floor, groaning in agony.
“Found it!” Dustin exclaimed as he spotted the problem. Four incense burners were placed in each corner of the hall, releasing thick white smoke. Upon closer look, he realized that the incense had been tampered with. The poisonous gas mixed in with the scent made it hard for anyone to notice.
Dustin quickly got rid of the source and pulled out several Curax tablets, giving them to Hector and a few others.
“Natasha, get me two buckets of water,” he ordered.
“Okay!” Natasha replied, rushing out. She came back moments later with two buckets of water.
Dustin poured half a bottle of Hexanavir into each bucket. There were too many poisoned victims for the limited Curax he had, so Hexanavir was the only option left. It might not work as well as Curax, but it could at least keep them from dying.
“Feed all the victims half a bowl of water,” Dustin said, and then he started his work. Those who could move crawled over to the buckets, while Dustin and Natasha helped those who couldn’t.
