“Why don’t you just leave it alone? I don’t care, but no one touches Dustin today!” Natasha stood her ground.

To her, Dustin was the most important person in her life. Even if he had done something wrong, she would defend him to the end, especially when she believed he was being treated unfairly.

“That’s ridiculous!” Jacob shouted, his anger rising. “How can someone like you interfere in such an important family matter? Someone take Miss Harmon back to her room!”

“Yes, sir!” Mrs. Davys and the others quickly moved to follow his orders, half dragging and half persuading Natasha out of the banquet hall.

Dustin watched with a frown. He wanted to step in but held back, his anger growing at how the Harmon family was handling the situation.

“No one is going to help you now, Rhys,” Quentin said, taking a few steps closer with a smirk. “I told you to leave earlier, but you didn’t listen. Look where you are now. You regret it, don’t you?”

“I’m not the one who poisoned you,” Dustin replied, trying to defend himself.

“Does that even matter? If I say it’s you, then it is!” Quentin laughed coldly.

“Are you doing this on purpose?” Dustin asked, his frown deepening. Being suspected was one thing, but being accused outright was another.

“So what if I am?” Quentin replied with amusement. “Everyone needs a scapegoat, and blaming you will make everyone happy! What’s wrong? Feeling unfairly treated? But what can you do? In this world, power is everything. Someone like you is just a pawn! Accept your fate!” He then turned and shouted, “Lock him up and torture him until he confesses! If he fights back, kill him immediately!”

At Dustin’s command, the Harmon family’s guards sprang into action.

“Let go of my son!” Hector yelled furiously but held back, worried about Quentin’s safety.

“He’s definitely the culprit! We can’t let him escape!” The crowd erupted in anger at Dustin’s actions.

“Hahaha! You’ve angered everyone, kid! No one can save you now!” Quentin laughed cruelly. “If you have any sense, let me go. I might spare your life. But if you touch me, I promise you’ll suffer a terrible death!”
