An Understated Dominance - Chapter 465

There were several fancy cars parked outside, surrounded by a lot of bodyguards. It was quite a sight, with at least a hundred people gathered. At the front of the crowd stood a man and a woman.

The man, Tyler Grant, was tall and had an impressive presence. His sharp eyes seemed to notice everything around him, and each step he took felt powerful and intimidating, almost like he was the Grim Reaper walking through a battlefield. He was clearly someone to be respected. Beside him was Jayla Grant, a woman Dustin had met by chance before.

“Tyler, I asked Natasha what she thought about this marriage alliance,” Jayla said casually. “She mentioned that she doesn’t want to marry you.”

“That’s not her decision,” Tyler replied confidently. “No matter what she says, I will have the woman I want.”

“True,” Jayla agreed with a nod. “What Natasha thinks doesn’t matter. This is about two families coming together. She’s just a woman and doesn’t get to have a say in this.”

“They’re here,” Tyler said, looking ahead.

The gates of the Harmon estate opened, and Hector, along with the rest of the Harmon family, came forward to greet them. “Sorry to keep you waiting, Tyler. Please, come in,” Hector said politely.

They entered the Harmon estate, and as they walked in, the Harmon family lined up on either side, showing their respect.

“Bring us some tea,” Hector instructed the staff. Once they settled in the lounge, a variety of refreshments were served. The Harmons were very courteous and respectful.

“Mr. Harmon, we’re here today to present you with the bride token,” Jayla said, clapping her hands to signal for the gifts to be brought in.

Soon, boxes filled with treasures arrived. They opened them to find gold bars, beautiful gold accessories, and all kinds of jewelry. There were over 20 boxes, each containing items of incredible value. It was truly amazing.

“Mr. Harmon, will this be enough for the bride token?” Jayla asked, her chin held high. Tyler, however, calmly sipped his tea, seeming uninterested in the proceedings.

“Absolutely! We appreciate the generosity of the Grant family,” Hector replied with a smile.

“Great! Since you’re satisfied, we can move forward with the marriage. We’ll come for the bride in ten days!” Jayla said directly.

“Su—” Hector began to agree, but was cut off by a clear, firm voice.

“No, I do not agree to this!”

Everyone turned to see Natasha entering the lounge, followed by several people. “I do not agree to the marriage alliance,” she stated firmly.

“You don’t agree?” Jayla’s face darkened. “Do you understand what you’re saying, Natasha?”

“I do, and I stand by my words: I will not marry Tyler Grant,” Natasha replied calmly.

“What is the meaning of this, Mr. Harmon? Are you going back on our agreement?” Tyler asked, looking up slowly.

His sharp gaze was fixed on Hector. “Have you ever thought about the consequences of what you do?”
