An Understated Dominance - Chapter 467
“Natasha Harmon, you have no shame! You’re absolutely disgusting!” Jayla shouted, slamming her hands on the table and standing up in anger. With her brother’s high status, he could never marry a woman who had slept with someone else.
“Are you trying to get a rise out of me?” Tyler asked, furrowing his brow for a moment. But quickly, he regained his cool and pretended not to care. “I don’t care that you’re not a virgin anymore.”
“What?” Everyone gasped at his words, especially the Grants. It felt like they didn’t even recognize Tyler anymore.
“You don’t care that I’m no longer a virgin? Well, what if I told you I’m pregnant?” Natasha dropped another bombshell. “I’m carrying Dustin’s child!”
As soon as she said that, chaos erupted in the room.

“Oh, you terrible girl! How could you?” someone shouted.
“Natasha! You’ve brought shame to the Harmon family!” another voice cried.
“How can you even think about marriage when you’re already pregnant? How completely disgraceful!”
From the Harmons to the Grants, everyone was scolding Natasha for her actions. Some of her relatives were so furious they didn’t know what to say.
Even Dustin was taken aback by her announcement. Was this the surprise Natasha had talked about? It seemed extreme. She had ruined her reputation just to escape the marriage arrangement. He couldn’t help but feel impressed by her bold move, but he also felt sorry for her. He could already picture the hurtful comments and judgment that would come her way from now on.
“Natasha Harmon! I’ve been patient with you, but this is too much! You’re crossing the line!” Tyler stood up slowly, his expression dark. He usually stayed calm, but now he couldn’t hold it together.
“It’s my fault, and I’m sorry. If you need any kind of compensation, just let me know,” Natasha replied.
“Compensation?” Tyler laughed bitterly. “Do you really think you can get away with this? That everything will go your way just because of those words?”
“What do you mean?” Natasha felt a wave of anxiety wash over her.
“There’s one thing I hate more than anything, Natasha, and that’s being lied to. You better hope I don’t find out that your pregnancy is a lie, or I don’t know what I’ll do. And you won’t get what you want. I won’t call off the marriage. You’re mine, and that’s not going to change. It doesn’t matter if you’re pregnant, or if you’re alive or dead. What belongs to me will stay with me forever! I’ll be back for you in ten days, and if you and your family refuse the marriage, I’ll take that as a declaration of war against the Grant family. You know what that means.” With that, Tyler turned and left, leaving Natasha in shock.
Chapter 467
She didn’t expect Tyler to be so determined, even after everything that had happened.
“Consider yourself lucky that my brother is still willing to accept you, Natasha! But let me tell you, people like you won’t have an easy life with the Grants!” Jayla sneered as she followed Tyler out.
“Oh, Natasha! What’s wrong with you?” Jessica exclaimed, nearly pulling her hair out in frustration. “You’ve just ruined what was supposed to be a…”
“It was foolish of you to do something so crazy!” Natasha exclaimed.
“Hector, Tyler isn’t just any guy. You won’t be able to pull off your pregnancy trick on him. You’ve really gotten yourself into a tough spot!” Hector sighed. He had only gone along with the plan because he hoped to help Natasha escape her marriage, but he never expected that Tyler wouldn’t fall for it. Even worse, Tyler seemed determined to go through with the marriage.
*There has to be another way…* Natasha thought, her forehead creased as she tried to figure out how to get out of this mess. Things had turned out far differently than she had planned, and she felt stuck.
“Dustin, you need to leave Millsburg right away! Tyler will never let you go!” Hector suddenly remembered how much danger Dustin was in.
“Don’t worry, Mr. Harmon. Tyler won’t be able to take me down that easily,” Dustin replied with a smile. “And I’ll handle the marriage situation myself. If talking doesn’t work, we can try a more forceful approach.”
