“Who are you?” Liam stammered as he crawled closer. His calm face was now filled with shock and fear. He never thought that he couldn’t even scratch his opponent. Instead, he had seriously hurt himself.

Was this man even human? Fletcher had said he was just an ordinary martial artist. Why was he so strong?

“Liam! Run! Quickly!” Noah shouted, pressed against the wall.

When Noah faced Dustin, he realized that Dustin was far more powerful than they had thought. With just one move, he had completely disabled Noah.

“Ah!” Liam cried out with frustration. He didn’t want to leave his brother, but he had no choice. He knew he couldn’t save him. He didn’t even have the strength to fight Dustin.

Dustin was like a mountain, and they were nothing but ants. The force of that last punch had crushed Liam’s will to fight.

“I have to warn Fletcher! This man is too dangerous. We can’t take him lightly, or Fletcher will be in serious danger!”

Liam’s instinct to survive pushed him to flee the parking lot. He was focused on one thing: telling his master to leave Swinton and never come back.

This man was someone they could never afford to challenge! Dustin didn’t chase Liam because he knew Liam was badly hurt.

“Who are you? Why are you in Swinton?” Noah asked, trembling with fear. If he had known someone this powerful was close to Natasha, he would never have had the courage to approach her.

“That doesn’t matter. I’ll give you a chance,” Dustin said. “Tell me everything about Fletcher, and I’ll spare your life.”

“Are you asking me to betray him? That’s never going to happen!” Noah shot a fierce look at Dustin. With his last ounce of strength, he touched his amulet.

In an instant, there was a sharp sound, and Noah collapsed. Dustin raised an eyebrow, surprised by Noah’s choice to end his own life rather than give in. In a corner, Chris trembled, watching the scene unfold.

Realizing the danger he was in, Chris bolted away without saying a word. He regretted provoking Dustin, not knowing how powerful he truly was. He felt utterly lost.

Meanwhile, in the lounge of the Emerald building, Edwin and Natasha were finishing their conversation.

“Ms. Harmon, I have some matters to attend to at home. I must take my leave,” Edwin said as he prepared to go.

“Goodbye, Sir Hummer,” Natasha replied, not trying to stop him as he walked away.

Once Edwin and his companion, Fletcher, got into the car, Edwin asked, “Mr. Lawson, do you have any updates from your apprentices?”

Fletcher smiled confidently, “They might be having a little fun. Don’t worry, Sir Hummer. They’ll return once they finish what they started.”

He had faith in the twins he had trained. Their strong bond made them even more powerful together, and he believed they were unbeatable in Swinton.

“That’s good to hear,” Edwin replied, nodding. He instructed the driver to head to Hummer Villa.

However, just as they arrived and were about to relax, a bodyguard rushed in, shouting, “Sir Hummer! Mr. Lawson! Liam has been seriously injured. I don’t think he will survive!”

“What?” Edwin and Fletcher’s expressions changed instantly.

“What are you talking about? Liam is incredibly strong. Who could possibly hurt him?” Fletcher grabbed the bodyguard by the collar, his worry evident.

“It’s true! Liam is at the door right now. You need to see for yourselves!”

“I need to see him now or it will be too late!” the bodyguard urged.

Fletcher didn’t hesitate. He pushed the bodyguard aside and rushed out. But when he reached the door, he lost his composure. There lay Liam, dying. “Liam! What happened? Where’s Noah?” Fletcher’s heart raced in disbelief.

“Noah… is dead. We were wrong! You need to leave!” Liam struggled to speak. Before he could say more, he coughed violently and spat blood onto Fletcher’s face. His head fell back, and he was gone.

“Liam!” Fletcher cried, overwhelmed with grief. He had trained both Liam and Noah to carry on his legacy. He never expected to lose them so suddenly.

“Why did this happen? Who did this to you?” Fletcher clung to Liam’s lifeless body. “I don’t know. We found him like this,” the bodyguard replied, shaking his head.

“Mr. Lawson, Liam was very skilled. How did this happen?” Edwin approached them, concern etched on his face.

Fletcher didn’t answer. He knelt to examine Liam’s body.

“Broken bones, damaged blood vessels, major organ injuries. He must’ve faced a strong opponent,” Fletcher said, his expression darkening.

“Are you saying that person with Natasha is very powerful?” Edwin frowned. “If he could take down my apprentices, I misjudged him!” Fletcher admitted, disappointment heavy in his voice.

“Can you defeat him?” Edwin asked, hopeful.

“Even though this man is strong, he’s still young. He can’t match my 40 years of experience. I will kill him and avenge my apprentices!” Fletcher vowed fiercely.

“Mr. Lawson, since you excel in the mystic arts, use your strengths wisely,” Edwin reminded him, wanting to prevent any more tragedies.

“Humph! This man killed my apprentices by—”

“I’d beat them to death! I would take revenge and kill him myself!” Fletcher growled, clenching his teeth.

If he found out that his apprentice had died because he tried to punch Dustin, he would never forgive himself.
