Dahlia had the support of Regulus Nicholson, but the powerful man in Glenstead was too far away to be a real threat to her.

“Oh, it won’t be a problem if she’s nobody special,” Nelson laughed. “She’d better not show up! If she does, I’ll make things hard for her!” He thought it was ridiculous for someone without wealth or power to ask him for money.

“Lord Horst, I need to ask for your help with this. Once it’s done, I’ll send you a gift,” Hank said, bowing to Nelson.

“Haha! No problem at all. We’re like brothers. Just relax,” Nelson replied with a big smile. From his past experiences, he knew that a “gift” usually meant a reward of at least a million dollars.

“Lord Horst…” One of Nelson’s men knocked on the door. Nelson frowned. “What is it? Can’t you see I’m in a meeting?”

“A few visitors are here to see you. They want you to pay your debts,” the man said. “Wow, they’re eager! Talk about timing!” Nelson rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

Hank smiled. “Lord Horst, I’ll be your audience for this.”

“Just watch how I teach her a lesson!” Nelson slammed his hand on the table and stood up, heading out of the room. Hank moved to the window to watch what was about to happen.

Outside, Dahlia stood at the entrance of Flame Dragon Properties, with Dustin on her left and Julie on her right.

“Dahlia, should we back out? Look at those men inside! They look scary and unfriendly. It’s so frightening!” Julie said, her voice shaky as she hid behind the others. The Flame Dragon Gang had a reputation for being tough.

Ruthless and intimidating, the gang made Julie very worried that they might assault her when she walked into their hideout.

“We’re already at the entrance. We can’t back out now, right?” Dahlia said calmly, trying to reassure Julie.

“Dahlia, these guys are dangerous!” Julie stammered as she spotted Nelson coming out with a group of men, ready to fight. She trembled at the sight of his furrowed brows and fierce glare.

“Who’s the brave one who wants me to pay up?” Nelson shouted as he stepped forward confidently.

“It’s me,” Dahlia replied, stepping up and speaking loudly. “Lord Horst, it’s time to settle your debts. You owe my company 70 million.”

“Ha! You’re quite daring!” Nelson laughed, motioning to his men. “Someone get me my saber!”

“Yes, Sir!” they replied, quickly bringing him a brass ring saber.

“Oh no! We’re finished!” Julie said, looking pale and ready to faint. Dahlia felt anxious too, worried about what Nelson might do.

“They think too highly of themselves!” Hank grinned, watching from the windows above.

“Nelson Horst, are you really going to hurt people when you’re the one who hasn’t paid?” Dustin suddenly appeared behind Dahlia.

“Hmm?” Nelson looked shocked to see Dustin, as if he had been struck by lightning. He dropped the saber onto the ground and realized the seriousness of the situation. He turned and slapped one of his men, shouting, “Why did you even bring that saber? Quick! Get me a check!”
