“That can’t be true! Tilda was the mole?”

Everyone gasped at Ruth’s shocking revelation. Their surprise quickly turned to worry when they saw the assassins’ clothes being removed, revealing matching tattoos on their bodies.

This couldn’t be a coincidence.

“You can’t prove anything with just a tattoo,” protested the bald guard.

“It might not seem convincing with just one tattoo, but what if everyone has the same one?” Dustin stepped forward, pulling off the clothes of Tilda’s fallen men.

“Soon, it became clear that all the men had the same tattoo. It was obvious now: they had found the traitor!

“No wonder Tilda started causing trouble as soon as she got here. She was the traitor all along!” Stephan said, angry. As a member of the Harmon family, he despised betrayal.

“But why? The Harmon family has always trusted her. Why would Tilda turn on us?” Ruth asked, her face showing her confusion.

“These days, not many can resist the lure of money and power. That’s why betrayals happen so easily. If it weren’t for Mr. Rhys’ sharp eye, we could have been in serious trouble!” Stephan shivered at the thought. Having a traitor was like living with a ticking bomb; you never knew when you might be betrayed.

“What should we do now, sis?” Ruth asked, feeling lost.

“There are definitely more of them hiding among us. I need to tell Father right away so he can start investigating,” Natasha said seriously. Having a traitor in their midst was a serious issue—much worse than an attack from outsiders.

“A small leak can sink a big ship. If we ignore this, the consequences could be dire!”

“You’re right! We must find out the truth!”

“Traitors are nothing but an abomination!” Ruth said, nodding her head vigorously.

“Ms. Harmon, I don’t think Tilda was careless. There must be more traitors hiding among us,” Dustin said, scanning the crowd like a hawk until his eyes landed on the bald guard.

“Why are you looking at me? Do you think I’m the traitor?” the guard narrowed his eyes at Dustin.

“We’ll find out when you take off your clothes,” Dustin replied casually.

“Why should I listen to you? Who are you to give me orders?” The guard began to lose his temper.

“Do as Mr. Rhys says. Take off your clothes,” Natasha commanded firmly.

“Ms. Harmon, I’ve worked for you for years. You can’t be suspecting me,” the guard said in disbelief.

“Strip!” Natasha ordered again.

“Fine! If you don’t believe me, I’ll prove my innocence!” the guard snapped, looking offended.

But as he began to remove his clothes, his expression changed to a sneer. He suddenly threw out his hand, and two black objects shot from his sleeve toward Dustin and Natasha.

The crowd didn’t react in time; everything happened so fast.

Dustin quickly reached out and caught one of the objects. It turned out to be a poisonous black snake, about the width of his finger.

“Ms. Harmon!” someone shouted.

Meanwhile, without anyone noticing, the second snake had bitten Natasha on the thigh.

“Grab that traitor!” Natasha shouted angrily, crushing the snake under her foot.

“Get him!” her men charged at the guard and quickly overpowered him.

“I’ve always treated you well. Why did you betray me?” Natasha approached him with a cold glare, a dangerous energy surrounding her.

“Ms. Harmon, you have to understand that a man will do anything to get rich. The offer I received was just too good to turn down. You can’t blame me for saying yes!” the guard said with a sneer.

“Who told you to do this? Who’s behind all of this?” Natasha pressed him.

“If I stay quiet, I’ll end up alone. But if I talk, my whole family will be in danger!” the guard shot back.

Natasha opened her mouth to respond, but suddenly felt a wave of nausea. Her body went limp, and she started to fall backward. Luckily, Dustin caught her just in time. He lifted her shirt and saw that the spot where the snake had bitten her was turning a dark purple.

The snake’s venom was clearly very dangerous!

“Give me the antidote!” Dustin shouted, slamming his foot down on the guard’s head, furious.

“Only if you let me go. Otherwise, Ms. Harmon is going down with me!” the guard replied with a sarcastic grin.

“Are you threatening me?” Dustin asked, narrowing his eyes.

“I know you’re a great doctor, Rhys, but this venom was made by an expert. It can’t be cured without the antidote!” the guard warned.

“You scoundrel! I’ll kill you if you don’t give us the antidote!” Ruth yelled, charging at the guard and starting to hit him.

“Go ahead! Once I’m gone, Ms. Harmon will go with me!” the guard taunted.

Ruth immediately stopped her attack.

“Don’t say I didn’t warn you. She’s been poisoned with a strong venom. She’ll be dead in half an hour,” the guard said ominously.

“Give me the antidote, and I promise I won’t hurt you,” Dustin said, his voice cold.

“Why should I trust you?” the guard frowned.

“You don’t have a choice. If she dies, I will…”

“Make your life a living hell!” Dustin glared at the guard.

The guard paused for a moment, then asked, “If I tell you the cure, will you let me go?”

“I’m a man of my word,” Dustin replied.

“Alright, I’ll trust you this time!” The guard clenched his teeth. “But there isn’t an antidote for this venom. The only way for her to survive is if someone sucks out the venom with their mouth. However, that person is likely to die too. So, it’s up to you whether you’re brave enough to do it.” The guard chuckled.

“Thanks for the advice,” Dustin said. Without warning, he stomped his foot onto the guard’s chest, crushing his ribs and causing his insides to spill out.

Blood poured from the guard’s mouth, and his eyes widened in shock. “Y-You said you wouldn’t kill me.”

“Sorry. I changed my mind,” Dustin replied casually.

“Y-You have no honor…” Before the guard could finish his sentence, he suffocated and died.

“So what?” Dustin said, looking at the lifeless body.

Everyone around stared in shock at his cold demeanor. They suddenly realized that this seemingly harmless person could be quite ruthless after all.
