An Understated Dominance - Chapter 92
The Cobra’s face turned dark as he scanned the room, his eyes landing on beer bottle after beer bottle.
“Smash, smash, smash, smash!” The bottles flew through the air like cannonballs, knocking each man down with perfect aim.
“Who’s such a coward? Come out and face me if you have the guts!” the Cobra shouted angrily.
No ordinary man could take down a dozen fighters with just beer bottles. “Sir Draco, mercy is a virtue. Why won’t you show it?” a voice called out.
Dustin stepped out from the crowd, catching everyone’s attention.
“Who is that? How dare he challenge Sir Draco’s men? Does he want to die?”
“He’s quite good-looking, but he’s foolish to provoke Sir Draco,” someone whispered.
“If I were him, I would have run after throwing those bottles. Why is he still here? Is he asking for trouble?” the crowd murmured, a mix of shock and admiration on their faces.
“Why are you here?” Dahlia asked, confused. She never thought Dustin would show up.
“What’s this idiot doing here?” Florence and James exchanged puzzled looks.
“Who are you, boy? How dare you attack my men?” the Cobra growled, his expression threatening.
“Who I am doesn’t matter. For your own safety, let’s just forget this incident,” Dustin replied sharply.
“Forget it? Who do you think you are? Just because you said so?” Before the Cobra could finish his sentence, a beer bottle smashed into his head.
Blood and beer dripped down his face.
The crowd gasped in shock, their eyes wide with disbelief. No one had expected Dustin to be so daring, to hit the Cobra over a disagreement.
He didn’t hesitate at all. He must be out of his mind!
After a moment of silence, the whole bar erupted in noise.
“He’s done for! This young man is dead! No one can save him!”
“I admire his courage. He even dares to hit Sir Draco! He has the heart of a lion!”
“He’s really a hero. He has my respect!”
“He looks cool, but who can survive Sir Draco’s anger?”
The crowd continued to chatter, but their eyes turned to Dustin with worry, like they were watching a prisoner facing execution.
“Dustin! Are you crazy?! You actually…” Dahlia stammered, shocked and unable to finish her sentence.
That was Sir Draco! He ruled South City and was the boss of the underground. He didn’t care about the Laney family at all! How could he dare to challenge him?
“This guy must have hit his head. How could Dustin be brave enough to confront Sir Draco?” James was stunned.
Even though Dustin was standing up for them, his actions were reckless! James would never dream of doing something so dangerous.
“You love to play around, don’t you? I’m going to enjoy watching your last moments!”
As the shock wore off, Matt couldn’t help but smirk. He had felt uneasy ever since Dustin had shown off at the hospital. Now, he was acting foolishly on the Cobra’s turf.
He really didn’t care about his life!
