Married At First Sight Chapter 4123
Chapter 4123
Shiloh’s brothers sat in silence.
Marco let out a low hum. “It’s good that you’re feeling better. There’s no point in dwelling on sadness. What truly matters is avenging Shiloh and seeking justice.”
The two brothers remained quiet. They had never been particularly capable. When their father worked as the butler for the Farrell family, they enjoyed a comfortable lifestyle. They had a high income, excellent benefits, and were the wealthiest family in their village.
Believing their wealth would last forever, the brothers neglected their education. Instead, they squandered their days running with bad company, recklessly spending on alcohol and women.
It wasn’t until they got married and had children that they began to take on more responsibility. However, by that time, their father had been imprisoned, and their younger sister, Kathryn—whom they had mistreated—had returned to the Farrell family.
She wanted nothing to do with them, offering only a small sum of money.
With that money, along with some of their parents’ savings, the brothers built and furnished houses in the village. But soon after, their financial situation took a drastic turn for the worse.
Once Kathryn rejoined the Farrell family, they believed they could manipulate her to gain control—just as their father had once done. They assumed that through Kathryn, they could obtain the same benefits he had enjoyed.
Their father was determined to make Shiloh the head of the Farrell family so he could rule through her, securing power and wealth for their family. His plan nearly succeeded—until it all fell apart.
Kathryn left. Shiloh never returned.
They were left with nothing.
Their mother went to see Kathryn, hoping to obtain money from her, but Kathryn had changed.
The once timid girl had transformed into a cold and strong individual, unwilling to be exploited. Their mother found no financial assistance from her. Although Shiloh had been more generous, their mother was hesitant to press her too hard for money. Meanwhile, Shiloh wanted nothing to do with them. With no other options, the brothers had to rely on themselves, taking any work they could find just to survive.
Then, the eldest lady of the Farrell family approached them with an offer. She provided them with a substantial sum of money and asked them to meet with Shiloh to persuade her against becoming a mistress and ruining another woman’s family. They were motivated by the money.
Upon discovering that Shiloh was attempting to break up the marriage of the Farrell family’s eldest son, they were shocked. They also uncovered the truth about Shiloh and her adoptive father. Despite having little emotional connection to Shiloh—largely because she had never acknowledged them—it was still a disgraceful situation. Their mother was devastated.
In a desperate attempt to dissuade Shiloh, they urged her to return home. She had money and could live comfortably in their hometown. Furthermore, the three young masters of the Farrell family had always treated Shiloh kindly. They believed that if she chose to return home, she could still benefit from their support.
However, everything quickly spiraled out of control when Shiloh fell to her death. They were not innocent and should have faced legal repercussions. Yet, thanks to the eldest young lady of the Farrell family, they were never held accountable. Ultimately, Shiloh’s death was officially ruled an accident.
Marco glanced at them through the rearview mirror, finding their silence unsurprising. He spoke again, his voice steady. “Shiloh’s death… your family’s downfall… it all traces back to one person—Kathryn. If it
If it weren’t for her, Shiloh would still be alive, and your family wouldn’t have ended up like this. “Yes, she’s our biological sister, but to her, we don’t even exist. The only sister we acknowledge is Shiloh. “If only we could turn back time.”
