Married At First Sight Chapter 4151
Chapter 4151
Tinsley said, “My sister has a social event tonight, so she’ll be working late at the office. Please bring her dinner.”
Tatum nodded in response. “Okay.”
Tinsley stepped into the elevator. As she turned around, she noticed Tatum had already walked away. She smiled to herself and murmured, “When will I meet a man who only has eyes for me?”
Elora had found Tatum, and although they weren’t officially a couple yet, they clearly had eyes only for each other. Before long, they would undoubtedly become a couple, provided neither family objected. They could enjoy a happy and loving relationship.
Yet, thinking about her own family situation, Tinsley couldn’t help but worry. Would Elora and Tatum truly be able to make their relationship work?
Elora couldn’t marry far away; even after marriage, she would need to manage the Ormond family’s business. Her responsibilities would be significant, and she would require understanding and support from both her husband and in-laws.
The York family had a strong reputation, but reputation alone wasn’t sufficient—no one truly knew what they were like behind closed doors.
Tinsley contemplated persuading the elders to visit Wiltspoon. It would be even better if she could convince Elora to join them. Once there, she could gain a deeper understanding of the York family.
However, she also remembered how Elora typically handled things; she never allowed the elders to dictate her choices.
With that in mind, Tinsley decided to let go of her concerns. Their relationship was theirs to navigate.
She didn’t need to intervene.
Tatum knocked on the door of the president’s office.
“Come in,” Elora’s voice called from inside.
Tatum opened the door. “Miss, it’s time for dinner. Let’s eat first.” He walked over and placed the
Elora placed her meal on her desk before organizing her workspace, ensuring nothing would distract her while she ate. Tatum had a strict rule: when eating, one should concentrate solely on the food and set work aside. This was the only way to genuinely savor the flavors and ingredients. Only Tatum would be bold enough to tell her that. He possessed the confidence of the sixth young master of the York family, along with remarkable cooking skills and a successful business of his own. Elora appreciated capable individuals, which led her to respect him and tolerate his assertiveness. Nonetheless, Tatum always remained respectful and never overstepped boundaries, a quality Elora admired in him.
“Miss, wash your hands and eat first. I’ll rinse some fruit,” Tatum suggested. He had also prepared fresh fruit for her to enjoy after dinner, always ensuring she had some about half an hour post-meal.
“Alright, I’m actually hungry,” Elora responded, realizing just how much energy she had expended working all afternoon. She went to the small tea room to wash her hands and casually inquired, “Have you eaten yet?”
“I’ll eat later,” Tatum replied while rinsing the fruit. “Freshly cooked food is best enjoyed hot.”
Elora paused for a moment before suggesting, “Starting tomorrow, make an extra portion—we’ll eat together.” He always waited for her to finish before having his meal. Since Tatum began preparing her food, her stomachaches had nearly vanished. He ensured she ate on time, and with three balanced meals a day, her health had improved significantly. However, she didn’t want him to develop stomach issues just because he was looking after hers. Moreover, she noticed he consistently stayed with her until she finished eating, patiently waiting at her side.
At least half an hour before departing, they would often engage in conversations about family matters. She enjoyed hearing him discuss his family and brothers. Even though some were merely cousins, their bond was remarkably strong—closer than that of many biological brothers. She appreciated this quality in him.
