Zachary confronted the lady with an icy demeanor. Elisa, cherished by the Stones, was the beloved daughter of the chairman of Stone Group and the twin sister of CEO Clive Stone, making her the most sought-after single woman in town.
“Wait a moment, Zachary,” she called out.
Suddenly inspired, Elisa dashed back to her sports car and retrieved an extravagant bouquet of roses.
Upon her return, she thrust the flowers through Zachary’s open window, exclaiming, “These are for you, Zachary! I know you and my brother have your differences, but I have feelings for you. I need to confess my love so you can understand that I am your true love.”
While Stone Group and York Corporation were fierce rivals in business, their relationship was anything but friendly due to competing interests.
Elisa experienced love at first sight when she first spotted Zachary at an event years ago. However, her brother Clive and her parents were not in favor of her affection for Zachary, given the existing tensions between their families.
Though Elisa had been spoiled throughout her life, it didn’t mean she was naive. She contemplated moving on from Zachary, but as time passed, her memories of him only intensified. In fact, she found it increasingly difficult to resist her feelings for him.
Elisa admired Zachary’s aloof nature; to her, he exuded a coolness that was irresistible. Noticing that he kept his distance from other women, she viewed this as a challenge to win his heart. Determined to pursue her feelings, Elisa decided to set aside her family’s opinions and boldly express her love for Zachary.
From this moment forward, she, Elisa Stone, would actively chase after Zachary!
However, Zachary’s expression darkened.
Seizing the bouquet, he flung it away with force.
Then, he rolled up the window and coldly ordered the driver, “Drive!”
“Zachary! Zachary! I love you!” Elisa called after him.
“I want your heart!” Elisa yelled as she banged on the car window. Zachary’s driver fired up the engine and inquired, “Sir, what about Ms. Stone’s car?”
“Hit it!” came the quick response.
Instead of accelerating full throttle, the driver kept it steady while one of Zachary’s escort vehicles surged forward, colliding with Elisa’s million-dollar Ferrari and pushing it aside.
Bang!
The security guards on duty stood frozen, mouths agape at the unexpected scene.
With Elisa’s car now cleared from the path, Zachary’s Rolls Royce smoothly rolled into the private parking lot of the company.
Elisa was left speechless, staring at the wreckage of her pristine sports car. By the time she regained her composure and sprinted after Zachary, the security personnel had already shut the gates.
“Zachary!” she shouted with urgency. “You have to get me a new car since you crashed mine. You owe me one! I’ll hound you every single day until you replace it!”
The damage to her car stung, but Elisa quickly realized that this could serve as the perfect reason to keep pestering Zachary. She was determined to make her intentions clear—she was after his heart!
Regardless of how things unfolded, she was resolute and wouldn’t regret her choice.
Still, Elisa couldn’t help but acknowledge that Zachary’s dramatic move to smash her car was undeniably bold. Of course, it would have been preferable if it hadn’t been her vehicle that bore the brunt of it.
The security guard couldn’t help but admire Ms. Stone’s audacity. Not only did she confront York Corporation with a scene, but she also boldly declared her feelings for Mr. York. Now that took some serious guts!
