Ning Yunchu immediately handed the phone to her son, asking him to speak with his seventh uncle. She felt too embarrassed to say that she wanted to send her son over herself.

There were already several children at home, and sending Lele over would likely cause a commotion. She worried that the seventh child, an unmarried man, wouldn’t be able to manage seven or eight children on his own.

So, Ning Yunchu had her son communicate directly with his seventh uncle, while she stayed silent.

She didn’t have the time herself—otherwise, she would’ve gone on a trip to Yangcheng with her sister-in-law.

She wouldn’t have any free time until August. That’s when she planned to take Lele out to explore the world. She had also made plans with her other sisters-in-law. Serenity mentioned that she, too, would be able to take some time off in August to bring along her younger siblings.

They planned to visit Lao Liu’s family in City A, Province X, and spend some time there. They heard that the summers in that region aren’t too hot.

Since marrying Ouyang Ya, Zhan Yuan only returned home with his wife and children during the holidays. Most of the time, he lived at his wife’s place.

He wasn’t just the eldest brother-in-law of the Ouyang family—he was also Ouyang Ya’s personal chef. He had been cooking all her meals for years.

After giving birth, Ouyang Ya gained some weight. She had to exercise daily, control her diet, and even told Zhan Yuan to stop making such tempting dishes.

It took her two months of consistent effort to return to her pre-pregnancy weight.

A lot had changed over the past six years.

The Ouyang family had seen many transformations. Ouyang Jun was now thirteen and about to enter the third year of junior high in September. He had excellent grades and had even skipped a grade in elementary school.

During the winter and summer breaks, Ouyang Ya would bring her two younger brothers to her company to study alongside her. Of course, she didn’t give them any roles—they were still minors, after all.

However, they could still observe and learn. When she was busy, the boys would do their homework and take practice tests. Occasionally, their sisters would give them extra exercises to complete.

This helped them understand how the company operated from an early age.Ouyang Ting got married a few years ago—she really did marry into the Jun family and became Shang Xiaofei’s sister-in-law.

Ouyang Ya remained at her parents’ home to manage the family business, but she didn’t insist that her younger sister stay as well. Ouyang Ting was free to make her own choice. After gaining her in-laws’ approval, she chose to continue helping her family for a few more years. Once her two younger brothers were older, she planned to join Fengchen Group.

The third daughter, Ouyang Lin, married someone from the same city. Although her husband wasn’t especially capable, his family background was a good match for the Ouyang family.

She had intentionally chosen a man with a good personality but limited business skills. She feared that if her husband were too capable, he might try to interfere in the Ouyang family’s affairs.

Her eldest sister’s husband, for instance, was an exceptionally talented man, yet he focused solely on taking care of her daily meals and raising the children. He never got involved in the Ouyang business unless his wife sought his advice—then he would offer a few suggestions.

Even in his free time, her brother-in-law had his own enterprises to manage. After all, he owned several companies himself.

“Seventh Uncle, Seventh Uncle!”

Lele shouted excitedly, waving at the camera and calling out, “Brother, Beibei, I miss you so much! You went out to play without me.”

“My mom won’t let me go out with Auntie,” Lele added, pouting.

Ning Yunchu explained, “Your aunt is already taking your big brother and Beibei with her. How could she bring along a mischievous little one like you? If she took you, all your other brothers would want to go too.”

Serenity laughed and added, “Auntie really can’t take that many kids. Next time, when your mom is free, we’ll all go out and play together.”

“But I want to go to Uncle Qi’s house now. Uncle Qi, can I come play at your place?”

Baobao handed the phone to Uncle Qi, looked up at him, and said, “Uncle Qi, how about letting Lele come over? Let him come quietly, without telling the second and third brothers.”
