Seducing My Ex's Father In Law Chapter 468
Gavin’s POV
By the time we got back to the villa, the sun was already setting. We’d spent the past several hours running and hunting in wolf form. Judy’s scent had long since faded, so I knew she was gone. Matt trailed behind me as we broke through the clearing; since we were in wolf form, we could speak through the mindlink—a lot easier, given we share the same blood.
At first, he was shaken by his first shift. The pain vanished quickly once he reached his full wolf form.
I slowed near the large oak tree where I stash extra clothes and shifted back. I wasn’t sure where Judy had put the ones I’d taken off earlier, and I wasn’t about to go looking for them. One of the shirts in the chest was big enough to fit over Matt’s small frame once he managed to shift back into human form.
He watched me intently in wolf form as I shifted and changed into the spare clothes. When he didn’t follow, I realized he didn’t know how. Shifting back isn’t instinctive—especially after an unexpected transformation like his. It takes training.

I knelt down and held my hand out for him to sniff. His wolf recognized me as someone to respect—because I’m a powerful Lycan and his Alpha.
“Command your wolf, Matthew. Tell him to relinquish control and shift,” I said, keeping my voice calm but firm as I met his wolf’s gaze.
He continued to stare, the internal battle clear in his eyes. Then, with a tired huff, he lay down and lowered his head in defeat.
“We are Landry’s,” I reminded him sternly. “We don’t quit. I need you to shift back to human form, Matthew.”
I placed my hand on his back, fingers sinking into his thick fur. Channeling my Lycan power, I tried to urge his wolf to yield. “Shift,” I commanded.
He whimpered, struggling under my influence. Then, bowing his head again—this time in surrender—I saw the change begin. His bones cracked and shifted, fur retracting into raw, healing skin. The first shift is never graceful, and returning isn’t much easier. Every bone is broken and reset, fur tears through skin only to be pulled back. The wolf fights to stay free while learning to obey the human within. It’s a battle, like taming a wild rogue.
Normally, we’re of age and prepared. We understand what’s coming and have support. But Matthew was underage and caught off guard. His experience was more brutal than most.
I hated watching him go through it. I still didn’t know what triggered it, but I knew one thing—I had to get him to the pack doctor immediately.
The moment Matt returned to his human form, he passed out from the pain and adrenaline crash.
I quickly pulled a long shirt over him to cover his naked body, then lifted him into my arms. His skin was red and blotchy where the fur had burst through, and his heartbeat raced.
I didn’t waste time with the car—I ran. I was faster on foot anyway.
Thankfully, the clinic wasn’t far from the villa. The receptionist met me at the door, and when she saw Matt limp in my arms, she immediately called Dr. Pierce, reporting an emergency.
Within moments, Matt was rushed into the exam room. I stayed close, watching as the nurses hooked him up to machines, drew blood, checked vitals, and started an IV.
