Seducing My Ex's Father In Law Chapter 471
“I need you to look into Samantha, the maid at the mansion,” Gavin said into the phone. I assumed he was talking to Beta Taylor. “I want a full report on everything she does. In the meantime, I’m having Judy stay at the villa. Head over to the mansion and pack some of her things to bring there.”
My heart skipped a beat at his words.
“Tabby, Chuck, and Sherry are also at the mansion,” I added quickly.
He nodded as he waited for a response from the other end.
“She has friends there too. Bring them to the villa and settle them into the guest rooms,” he continued. After a pause, he said, “Perfect. Talk soon.”

He ended the call and slipped the phone back into his pocket.
I let out a breath I hadn’t realized I was holding.
“It’s taken care of,” Gavin assured me. “You don’t have to worry. I’ll assign some of my gammas to guard your family home, too. The Montague family is officially under Landry protection.”
“Really?” I asked, my heart pounding. “You’d protect my family?”
He met my gaze, and for a moment, I thought he was about to say something else—but he simply nodded.
“Dad?” came a faint voice from the hospital bed, drawing both of our attention to Matt. His eyes were open, and he looked so small and fragile in that moment.
Gavin quickly moved to his side.
“Hey, buddy,” he said, gently cupping Matt’s face. “It’s okay. I’m right here.”
“Where am I?” Matt asked, squinting up at him.
“You’re in the pack clinic. You’re safe,” Gavin said softly. “How are you feeling?”
“I’m okay,” Matt said, his voice quiet. He glanced down at his body, puzzled. “But I had the craziest dream…”
“A dream?” Gavin asked, brows raised. “What kind of dream?”
“I’m not sure… I dreamed I shifted—and we were running around in wolf form. But that can’t be real, right?”
Gavin paused, staring at him silently, clearly deep in thought. I stayed where I was, giving them space. I considered stepping out, but as I began to move past the bed, Gavin gave me a look—one that clearly told me to stay—without saying a word.
“Matthew, that wasn’t a dream,” Gavin said gently. “You did shift. And you’re right—it shouldn’t have been possible. But it happened, and we’re still trying to figure out how.”
Matt’s eyes widened.
“I turned into a wolf?” he asked, voice hoarse. “Are you sure?”
Gavin nodded slowly.
“Yes,” he said simply.
“How?” Matt asked, his brows furrowed. Then he noticed me. “Judy?”
I gave him a soft smile.
“Hey,” I said, keeping my voice low and calm.
“Did you see me shift too?” he asked.
I bit my lip and nodded.
“It’s true, Matt,” I confirmed. “You turned into a wolf.”
Matt let out a breath, tearing his gaze away and staring at the ceiling. He closed his eyes for a brief moment, his chest rising and falling before he opened them again and took in a sharp breath.
“I can feel it… my wolf… he’s still inside me,” Matt said, placing a hand over his chest. “I can feel him. Like he’s part of me.”
“He is a part of you,” Gavin confirmed. “Right now, he’s wild, and it’ll take time to understand and live with him. But we’ll train, and with time, it’ll get easier.”
Before Matt could respond, Dr. Eliza Pierce entered the room. Her face lit up with a warm smile when she saw Matt awake.
“I thought I heard your voice,” she said as she approached the bed. “How are you feeling, Matt?”
“Confused…” Matt admitted, knowing full well that wasn’t what she was really asking.
Eliza nodded knowingly.
“That’s to be expected. Your body went through something very intense,” she said gently. “We’ve been trying to understand how someone your age could shift, and I was hoping you might help us figure it out.”
Matt shook his head.
“How would I know? I have no idea how it happened,” he told her honestly.
She nodded thoughtfully.
“Of course. But can you remember what happened right before you shifted? I think something may have triggered your wolf.”
Gavin’s head snapped toward her.
“You think something caused the shift?”
I knew what the trigger was, but I wanted Matt to tell the story himself.
He sat there quietly, thinking about what had led up to that moment. Then suddenly, his eyes widened, and his entire body tensed.
“Matthew?” Gavin asked, concerned. “What is it?”
Matt looked up at him, his eyes filled with fear and confusion.
“Dad… did… did Irene try to kill me?”
