Seducing My Ex's Father In Law Chapter 491
I ignored my mother’s gasp and the flush of anger on my father’s face. I didn’t want to disrespect either of them, but they were treating me like a child—like I couldn’t make my own decisions. This was my life, and I had the right to choose what to do with it. I would always be grateful to them for raising me since I was a pup, but now it was time for me to grow and become my own person. Everything I’d done had been for them… The only reason I worked for Gavin in the first place was to help pay off my father’s debt. I’ve done all I can for this family, and if they can’t see that, then that’s on them.
I didn’t stay to hear another lecture from my father. Without saying a word, I walked out, got in my car, and headed for the villa. I needed to see Gavin. I needed answers about Sammy. Why would she escape like that?
I hadn’t driven far when I noticed a shadow moving through the forest. It looked like a wolf. While wolves were common in this area—it was packland, after all—something about this one felt different, and an instinctive urge to follow it washed over me.
Without hesitation, I pulled over to the side of the road and quickly stripped off my clothes, not wanting to ruin them during my shift. It was easier to track in wolf form. Almost instantly, I caught the scent—it was familiar. My wolf’s ears perked up at the recognition. She picked up my clothes in her teeth and started tracking the trail.
Nose to the ground, she took off in the same direction. The forest blurred around us as we ran. She was fast—faster than any normal wolf. I never quite understood why she was so quick, but it was a gift I was thankful for, especially now. In no time, we had the wolf in sight.

It was a large black wolf. And the moment I saw it, I knew exactly who it was.
It was the same wolf who had saved me during the competition, back on the island. My heart pounded in my chest.
Even then, I’d known the wolf was female—her aura made that clear, and her scent carried a distinctly feminine note. I couldn’t help but wonder what she was doing here… and who she really was.
My wolf kept her distance, staying several feet back as she observed the black wolf’s pace begin to slow. The black wolf lifted her head and sniffed the air. For a moment, I feared she had detected us, just as we had detected her. But she didn’t turn in our direction, much to my relief. My wolf remained hidden in the shadows, using the bushes as cover.
Her gaze stayed locked on the black wolf, tracking her every move. The wolf had stopped moving altogether and was now standing in the middle of the forest, sniffing around the base of a tree. I noticed she had a bundle of clothes in her mouth, which she gently set on the ground before continuing her careful prowl. After a few minutes, she circled back around the large tree, raised her head, and let out a howl—as if signaling someone that she was there. She stared up at the night sky and howled again, holding the note for a few moments before falling silent.
I felt my wolf’s confusion shift into a subtle unease as she sensed another presence approaching. Though distant, we both knew it wouldn’t take long for them to arrive. A chill rippled through me, and I felt my wolf instinctively start to recoil. I had to fight her to maintain our wolf form—something that had never happened before. I wasn’t ready to shift back, but she was becoming increasingly insistent, desperate to retreat from whatever was drawing near.
