Charlie explained, “The seller of the villas is talking to several buyers at once. Since the price is low, the first one to make a deal gets the villa. That’s why this old customer is eager for me to go with him today.”

Curious, Xiao Churan asked, “Who is the customer? A man or a woman?”

After asking, she felt her question might be inappropriate and quickly added an explanation.

Charlie Wade smiled and replied, “It’s a male client. He’s quite famous—Chen Zekai, the general manager of our Buckingham Palace Hotel.”

Xiao Churan recognized Chen Zekai’s name. She knew he was influential in Jinling, but she didn’t know much about his background. So, Charlie Wade felt comfortable mentioning him.

He then turned to Chen Zekai and said, “Mr. Chen, please talk to my wife.”

Chen Zekai approached and said seriously, “Mrs. Ye, I’m Chen Zekai. Master Ye will be joining me this time. I hope you don’t mind.”

Xiao Churan replied quickly, “Not at all! I hope you both have a great time.”

Charlie Wade then said, “Wife, we’re ready to leave now, so I won’t keep you long.”

Xiao Churan urged, “Please be safe while you’re out!”

“Remember to eat regularly,” Xiao Churan reminded Charlie Wade.

Charlie smiled and replied, “Don’t worry, I’ll take care of myself.”

“Great!” Charlie responded. He hung up the phone, feeling a bit sad, and turned to Chen Zekai. “Please arrange for a helicopter. I need to get to the airport!”
