Chapter: 2643
When Charlie Wade said he was heading to the airport, Chen Zekai immediately asked, “Master, are you leaving now?”
Charlie quickly replied, “What are you waiting for? The plane has probably taken off already. It will land at Jinling Airport in about twenty minutes. If the helicopter takes too long, the Concorde might arrive first.”
Chen Zekai realized his mistake and smiled awkwardly. “You’re right! I forgot how fast the Concorde is. Just give me a moment to get the helicopter ready.”
He then grabbed the walkie-talkie on his desk and said, “Helicopter crew, get ready to take off for Jinling Airport in five minutes!”
Before long, Charlie heard the sound of the helicopter engine starting on the roof.

“Master, you can go now!” Chen Zekai urged.
“Great!” Charlie said as he stood up and left Chen Zekai’s office.
Chen Zekai’s office was on the top floor, with the helipad right above it. There was a special elevator that went straight to the roof.
With Chen Zekai’s guidance, Charlie took the elevator to the top. The helicopter was already ready to go.
A flight attendant opened the helicopter door and stood aside respectfully. Charlie stepped in, expecting Chen Zekai to follow.
“Old Chen, you don’t need to see me off,” Charlie said.
But Chen Zekai quickly replied, “Master, I’m not just seeing you off. I’m coming with you!”
“Coming with me?” Charlie frowned. “That’s not necessary. I can handle it myself.”
Chen Zekai said eagerly, “No, Master. You went to Syria and you might not know your hometown well. Even though you are incredibly strong, I want to be by your side. If my grandmother asks for you, I can help smooth things over.”
Seeing Chen Zekai was so determined, Charlie Wade agreed, “Alright, let’s go together.”
Chen Zekai was thrilled and quickly sat next to Charlie Wade. He turned to the crew and shouted, “Let’s go!”
The helicopter took off, soaring toward Jinling Airport.
Twenty minutes later, when they were about ten kilometers from the airport, Charlie Wade spotted a sleek white passenger plane flying above them.
Unlike typical passenger planes with a rounded nose, this one had a sharp conical nose. Its wings were not the usual shape but were triangular and angled backward, designed for speed.
Chen Zekai noticed the plane too and exclaimed, “Look, Master! That’s your Concorde! It looks like it got here before us!”
The Concorde flew at nearly 400 kilometers per hour, much faster than the helicopter, which quickly fell behind.
As Charlie Wade watched the futuristic-looking plane, he felt a mix of amazement and nostalgia. He never expected such an advanced aircraft to be from decades ago.
He was also struck by the power of money. The Concorde was incredibly expensive to buy, modify, and maintain, costing more than most people could imagine. Only someone with over a trillion in assets could afford to keep it running.
Yuan looked around at his big family. There was no one who could afford such expensive things.
